A/N I would like to apologize for this chapter in advance, because I had two glasses of wine before writing this, and another while I proofread...

It's Friday again, but for once the boys aren't gathered at Harry's and Liam's, instead roaming around Louis' house, setting up for a party.

There's nothing special to celebrate, but as Louis half-way jokingly told Harry a couple days earlier, 'he might as well get something good from his mother never being home', which made Harry rather worried, to the point where Louis had to reassure him that things actually were better than they had been in a while. Harry only reluctantly let it slide.

So, now they're setting up at Louis', hiding expensive things, so drunk-Niall will not stumble around and ruin them, moving furniture around and preparing everything else.

For the moment though, Harry and Louis are taking a make-out-break on the couch, as the other boys are off somewhere else in the house. It started out pretty innocently, as Harry had thrown himself on the couch with a dramatic sigh, leading to Louis coming over and cuddling him.

Now they're quite possibly full-blown making out, and maybe, just maybe, Harry is grinding his hips up against Louis' by now, none of them knowing how it escalated that quickly.

They are broken apart by Liam groaning exaggeratedly, making Harry blush and Louis laugh. "Get a room for fucks sake. I do not need to see my brother dry humping my best friend thanks." However, the complaining turns silent the second Zayn enters the living room, eyeing Louis' and Harry's disheveled states with a smirk.

"He stopped complaining because Zayn came back", Louis mumbled into Harry's ear, and the younger boy replied with a grin. "Suppose he didn't want Zayn to think he is against make-out sessions on the couch".

When both of them are laughing loudly, Liam turns towards the couch with an eyeroll, telling them to control themselves and get reading to go shopping for snacks and drinks.

Louis adjusts himself with a smirk, grabbing Harry's wrist to pull him upstairs, Niall emerging from the bathroom at the same moment.

"Give us a second," Louis yells over his shoulder, as he drags Harry to his room.

Two minutes later they once again emerge in the living room, Harry in one of Louis' oversized sweaters and Louis swimming in one of Harry's regular-sized shirts.

"Was sure the two of you were gonna shag", Liam mumbles as he pulls on a jacket.

Cheekily and quite unbothered, Louis responds in a warm tone, staring at a blushing Harry. "Of course not. Just had to make sure my boy was warm enough. Oh, we did kiss a bit more".

"Course you did", Liam says, rolling his eyes a bit too fondly to seem really bothered by their obvious displays of affection.

"I would have waited for you to finish", a helpful Niall throws in, making him the next victim for Liam's eyeroll.

Soon, they're headed to the nearest store for snacks and drinks, but not before Liam comments on Harry and Louis' cliché behavior of trading shirts - It does however fall a bit short when he offers Zayn his jacket not five minutes later, Louis and Harry exchanging knowing looks.

"A month", Harry mouths, to which Louis holds up two fingers, signaling his bet of two weeks, before Liam and Zayn are dating. Harry swats away Louis' arm, instead grabbing his hand, so he can intertwine their fingers, as they walk.

The first guests arrive around eight, meaning the five of them have already had their fair share of warm-up drinks - Niall a tipsy, Irish, and red-cheeked ray of sunshine, as he welcomes the guests and lead them to the kitchen to place the alcohol they brought and get something to drink.
