Oh I Do Like Guys, Just Not You (L.S)

Chapter 7

The next week is a blur of Harry flirting and Louis responding with little to nothing, but sometimes he will reciprocate with small things like a sassy comment, a confident smirk or a joke about Harry - the younger boy figures it's just Louis' equivalent of flirting, and he really doesn't mind.

Friday however, things take a turn for the better, as Louis seemingly decides to give back a little. It's small things really, but they make those annoying butterflies inside Harry explode, and he is well aware that Louis has him wrapped around his little finger. Not that he minds.

First Louis winks at him when they pass each other in the hall.

Then he is obscenely licking his lips in the cafeteria while keeping eye contact with Harry, completely distracting him from Niall and Zayn planning their sleepover at Harry's house tonight.

Lastly, they brush fingertips in the parking lot when he and Liam run into Louis before heading home. It sends a weird feeling of electricity up his spine and all the way home his mind is completely clouded with Louis, Louis, Louis, oblivious to anything Liam is babbling about.

It feels like something big is about to happen between him and Louis, as they have already kissed twice - getting pretty heated both times - and since then they have been flirting even more. Louis actually reciprocating it now as well. 

Harry would love to do more with Louis - he is undeniably very attractive and funny and sweet after all, but it's purely physical, as he would never date his brother's friends. And he doesn't want a relationship in general either. But he wants Louis, and these small looks and touches are making him insane with excitement. He really hopes it will end up as more.

Which is why he isn't displeased at all when he finds out Louis is coming over tonight as well as Zayn and Niall. It's not rare that all five of them ends up hanging out - often playing games on the PlayStation or watching movies. It would make a great scenery for flirting with Louis. And they did end up kissing in a bathroom the last time Louis slept over. All in all very promising.

As it turns out, luck is in Harry's favor tonight, and when Niall and Zayn come over about an hour later - just in time for dinner with all four of the Styles-Payne clan, they are more than up for a night with Liam and Louis. Probably because Niall wants to wingman Harry and Zayn is trying to keep an eye on them, making sure Harry will not get hurt. Either way, they're up for it.

Louis arrives after dinner, and the five of them end up on the big couch in the living room. However, Liam is placed in-between Louis and Harry which isn't exactly ideal for the whole flirting situation.

They all agree upon a movie marathon, as none of them are in the mood for doing much, and it's quickly settled that it will be consisting solemnly of horror movies.

They're halfway into the first one, when Harry feels something tugging gently at one of his curls. He begins turning his head to see who it is, but barely moves before two firm fingers press against his chin, bringing his head back to its forward position, staring at the scary movie on the television. 

However, it was enough to see that it wasn't Liam who's playing with his hair. It has to be Louis then, and he discretely continues his caressing of Harry's curl, and to say that he enjoys it would be a horrid understatement. It's absolute ecstasy having Louis cradling his head, nuzzling the hairs at his neck slowly. And honestly, Harry has no idea what's happening in the movie from that point, despite all of the other boys commentating on everything the main characters do wrong. Which is apparently a lot.
