𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒚-𝑺𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏

It was a short journey back, but all the boys made sure to get some rest. I allowed Kuroo to rest his head on my shoulder as my eyes watched the world move past us. All the boys had worked so hard at the training camp, and I was proud of them. They were slowly improving, even Lev was getting better. Nationals were getting closer and closer, but first, the boys had to get through.

Finally, we arrived back at school, and everyone got off lazily as they rubbed their eyes from their naps. Kuroo grabbed both of our stuff before I could protest and walked off the bus with Kenma behind him. Making sure I had taken everything before I stepped off. Taking my things from Kuroo gave him an opportunity to hold my hand, and since everyone already knew, I didn't stop him. "Is your dad picking you up?" Kuroo asked as eyes looked out for the family car, "yeah, he should be here any minute."

Letting go of Kuroo's hand as I spotted Hina walking towards us, "what're you doing?" He asked as he tried to hold my hand, but I couldn't do this stuff in front of her. I know she said she was over it, but still, I don't think she would get over it that quickly. "I know what happened between you two, I just think she needs more time" I whispered to him as we watched her come towards us. He didn't say anything as clapping could be heard, glancing up to see my sister with a big smile as she clapped her hands.

"Damn that was quick, I didn't think you would confess so soon" she laughed, but both of us were confused. Hina walked over to me and grabbed my bag, "I saw Yamamoto's Snapchat story, he seems upset with your relationship." Turning towards the boy, glaring at him as he cried once more into Fukunaga's shoulder, "it's not fair!"

Grabbing a hold of Hina's hands and staring at her straight in the eyes, "are you sure you're okay with this?" The smile remained on her face, "yes, please (Y/N) don't worry about me. I'm fine." Nodding my head as she began to walk back to the car with me following behind but I was pulled back by none other than Kuroo, my boyfriend. "You're not leaving here until I get my kiss" I could hear the smirk in his voice as I saw Kenma turn away, "that's gross Kuroo," he said before walking away from us.

"Girls, let's go! Your mum is waiting!" I heard dad's shout and immediately got out of his grasp. Waving to the boys with a smile as Kuroo pouted at me, "I'll text you when I get home. Make sure you all get home safe!" I yelled at all of them as they started to make their ways home. "Get home safe!" I heard Kuroo as I let out a giggle, "you seem happier these days." My sister whispered as we got into the car, but before I could ask dad began asking questions, "how was the trip? Anything happened?" Hina giggled at the back as I narrowed my eyes at her, "you have this type of glow to you." Smiling to myself as I put my seatbelt on, "this is the first time I've ever been this happy."

Everything went silent as dad started the car. However, Hina just couldn't keep her mouth shut, "she has a boyfrien-" before she could finish, I was already attacking her. Dad started laughing, "it's fine (Y/N). I bet it's the boy who came to the hospital" nodding my head as I fidgeted with my fingers on my lap. "I'm just glad you two are finally getting along again" we both smiled at dad's words.

Once we arrived home, we all sat down, eating one of mum's famous dishes. It was fun having everyone sat down at the table, eating and laughing away. Everything was good. My sister and I were finally twins again, and mum and I were back to normal. I felt like nothing could ruin my life.

As soon as I entered my room, I collapsed on my bed as I began planning on how I would tell them. Tomorrow we didn't have school so I guess if everyone was free, we could all go out. Texting the group chat; I want to treat the whole team to lunch tomorrow. Pick a place. Everyone was so quick to reply as they showed how shocked they were with me texting first and me inviting them out. Rolling my eyes at their overreacting responses, just pick a place already. I'm paying. After some arguments, the team finally agreed on this sushi place near school. Before I closed my eyes, I had got a message from Kuroo, and as I read it, a smile appeared on my face.

Good job manager/girlfriend.

I was all dressed and ready to go, I had never been to this place before, so I was scared to go by myself. Dad had work today so he wouldn't be able to drop me off, but that's fine. I have the directions on my phone. I'll be fine, hopefully. My symptoms have been stable, and I had a good feeling about all this. Maybe I could actually have dreams and goals again. After the surgery, I would live my life to the fullest.

Taking a deep breath before opening my bedroom door and walking downstairs. As I was putting on my shoes, there was a knock on the door and when I went to open it. I was surprised to see Kenma and Kuroo standing there. "What are you doing here?" I questioned them as I grabbed a random coat, "can't a boyfriend walk with his girlfriend to the meeting spot?" he questioned as I put the coat on without looking at it. "Is that Kuroo's jacket?" Kenma asked, causing me to look at the coat I was wearing, and he was right it was. I was so embarrassed, I forgot to give it back to him. "No, it's mine" I tried playing it cool as I shouted goodbye to my family before closing the door.

The three of us began our travel to the restaurant. Kuroo let the way as he held onto my hand tightly, "I like it when you wear my clothes." He whispered into my ear, looking away from him as he laughed at my reaction.

Eventually, we arrived at the place to see the team outside waiting for us, "what took you so long?" Yaku complained at Kuroo before we all walked in. Finding our table number as the waitress came over, "order whatever you want. It's on me" I smiled at them, remembering my dad had a massive discount on this place from work. Once everyone ordered they began discussing the upcoming tournament where it would decide if they are going nationals. This would be the last tournaments for the third years before they went off to college. The food soon arrived, and we all dug in enjoying the fantastic tastes, we laughed and smiled.

Everyone finished eating as I went up to pay, no one knew about the discount, and I'll keep it like that. Smiling at the lady before walking back over to the table, "I know you are all full but could you follow me." Everyone was confused, even Kuroo, no one knew what to expect.

They all nodded their heads as they followed closely behind me as I directed them to a bridge that I often walked by. It was calming here. My eyes watched the water dance in the wind before turning around at the boys who crowded around me, "I have something to say to everyone-" before I could finish they all grabbed a hold of my arms with fear in their eyes. "Please don't jump, (Y/N)!" They shouted as I started laughing, shaking my head as they moved back with caution.

"I have lung cancer."

I finally said. It was now out in the open, but as I saw the boy's eye turn glassy, I knew it was gonna get ugly. "But I'm going to have a surgery next week that should make me better" I smiled at them hoping to calm them down, but it got worse as they let the tears out before pulling me into a group hug. "Don't leave us manger" they cried out as I let out a soft smile glancing at my team and friends.

"I don't ever wanna leave."
