Friday night and yet again the 16 year old girl Anna was out partying with her friends instead of revising for her exams. She used to care alot about school, she cared until the age of 15 then she discovered boys, and parties and spending all night every night out with her friends. "im getting sick of this" Nate sighs running his hand through his hair "me too babe she cant keep doing this every week" you replied shaking your head "she's such a smart girl, she could be doing so well in her exams but she just doesn't care. She'll regret this when she gets older" he said "we need to do something Nate but what? there's no point in talking to her tonight no doubt she'll have been drinking" you rolled your eyes "i'll wait until tomorrow. giver her more of a headache" Nate scoffed sitting back on the sofa to watch the super bowl.

4 hours later 1;30am, Anna stumbles in the door, her makeup smudged, slurring her words, clearly drunk "Anna Beth Grace Maloley bed now i'll talk to you in the morning" Nate says angrily slamming the door behind her. You dont say anything to her knowing she wont even know what you've said anyways. "Mum" she mumbles entering the room "go to bed Anna i'll talk to you when you're at least a little bit sober" you reply following Nate upstairs.
*morning/afternoon lunch ish time*
"we need to talk" Nate said to Anna, when she actually had her eyes open, "you know we'll always love you right but this isnt right, you're a smart gorgeous girl, you dont need to go out and party and getting drunk every night" "stop being so bossy dad jesus calm down" she shouted back rolling her eyes. "what happened to you" Nate replied, anger boiling up "you use to be so focused, now look at you, you have exams to be revising for" "i dont give a shit about exams dad, when are you going to realize i dont want to do anything with my life, you have money why do i need it?" she said rudely. You heard the shouting from upstairs and sighed heavily. You didnt want Nate taking this approach to disciplining her but he was angry and there was nothing you could do to stop him. "i cant believe you, yes we have money but what if one day all the money goes? and its not yours you cant rely on us to pay for everything when you're older!" Nate shouted back. "i dont want to any of the school stuff" "what happened to my little girl" "she grew up" she replied stopping shouting. "i just want the best for you Anna why cant you see that i dont want you to waste your life away" "i dont either Dad" she sighed rubbing her temples "i'm sorry for letting you down" "we'll always love you Anna and thank you for the apology i love you sweetie" Nate smiles softly hugging her tightly.
