Demon Tanjiro AU (spoilers?)

Episode One

A/N
The Au begins the same as the anime, but the only reason that Nezuko is going
Is because Tanjiro broke his leg going down the mountain last time.

And instead of Sabito dying, it's Giyuu who dies and Sabito becomes a hashira.
Since I'm lazy it's gonna go until the Demon Slayer movie.
-Nezuko POV-
I went to grab the charcoal before heading down the mountain, but as I did my younger sibling ran up behind me.
"Big sis!" I turn around to see Takeru a sad look on his face.
"What's wrong?" I say, a little worried . "Oh nothings wrong..But-" Takeru whispers the last part.
"Can I come with you?" I chuckle at his question when I see my mother walk towards us.
"Takeru you know she isn't going to carry you if you get tired!" He groaned. "Now Nezuko go see Tanjiro, and he'll tell you which path to take down the mountain"
I go inside the house to see tanjiro playing with our other siblings, attempting to get his crutch back from Shigeru and Hanako.
"Hey cut that out or I'll tell mom!" I say as I enter the room. Shigeru drops the crutch.
"Sorry we'll stop now" he says as she grabs Rokuta and Hanako, dragging them out with him.
"Whatcha need Nezuko?" Tanjiro asks as I put on my kimono. "Which path do you take down the mountain?"
  I ask as he sits up a little, "oh just go down to the one on the right"
"Will you be able to manage while I'm gone?"
"Duh it's not like the house is gonna burn down or anything"
(The bold text is Tanjiro speaking btw 😅)
"Knowing you something will happen"
I say jokingly. His face turns serious for a moment,
"Nezuko....If something dose happen there is a doctor who lives in town, he's one of our clients who comes to buy charcoal from us."
A chill runs down my spine as I hear him say that, "okayyy I'll keep that in mind.." He then softens his expression.
         "I promise nothing will happen, you don't have to worry about us! I'm pretty strong"
He flexes his arms like he's a lumberjack or something, causing me to laugh at his silly display of strength.

-Time Skip to Nezuko coming back from town-
I pull the cart up behind me though, it doesn't weigh that much because I sold all the charcoal while I was in town!
I couldn't wait to tell Tanjiro now, he could finally stop teasing me about how he's sold more then me.
It's getting dark and I feel pretty scared, then I hear a man call out behind me.
"Hey you come here for a moment!"
I do as he asks and walk over him, "there are demons out at this time of night, you can spend the night here if you—want." He says with a dead serious look on his face.
"Alright let me get my cart then" I say deciding to take his advice because of how dark it is.
We sit down inside as he closes the door to the small "shack" we're in.
"Tell me about the demons" I say wondering what old story he'll tell me.
"You really want to know?" The man says a puzzled look on his face.
"Yes I do" I say taking him seriously. "Well" he began
"Demons are these terrible monsters who devour humans in order to gain power, they can't come out in the sun.
Because the sun can kill them, only some demons can walk in the sun they are the ones to be the most afraid of."
He finishes the story and I go to bed on a futon he provided for me.
I drift off to sleep thinking about the story he told me, and I wondered if I would ever see a real demon.
