Episode Two (pt 1)

I just wanna thank you guys who have been reading so far!
This is the first book I'm really putting my effort into.
And chapters might take a bit to come out because, I have to re-watch some episodes so I don't get anything wrong.
(And do a bit of homework 😔)
Also if anyone wants to continue writing this when I end it your free to do so!

-Nezuko POV-
I read the note left by the peach haired boy and decided to go up the mountain to be trained by this "Urokodaki". I needed fighting experience, if I was to survive in a world filled with demons.
I helped Tanjiro walk when he woke up, we were walking up the mountain when we heard a scream.
Tanjiro tilted his head, a confused look in his eyes.
We ran up to the house sitting near the path it's door slightly ajar.
"Hello? Do you need help?" I called out as I opened the door.
I was too late once again.. A demon was hunched over devouring a woman, blood splattered all over the room.
I froze in fear my mouth hanging open.
"Oh? What's this two humans?"
  The demon cooed as it raised its head up looking at me and Tanjiro, I grabbed a hatchet from off of the floor and threw it at the demons face.
My throw was slightly off hitting the wall behind it, but before I could react the demon knocked me over and started to crush my throat with it's hands.
I forced out a gut wrenching scream like I was underwater or something.
Tanjiro stood there wide eyed.
But all of a sudden.
He ran up to me and kicked the demons head clean off causing the body to go limp.
H-he just killed it I thought, as I scrambled away from the demons decapitated corpse.
"Gah! Tanjiro how the heck did you do that?!"
He used his hands to pull off the bamboo gag.
"I..kicked it."
"To protect you Nezuko"
My eyes widened when I heard him speak I didn't know he was still able to talk.
"Y-you c-can talk?" I stuttered as I dropped onto my knees.
"Yes able..to...talk now.."
I hugged him tightly, as I got up.
"The sun is gonna rise soon we should-"
I was cut off by something hitting my back?
The head of the demon from earlier, had hooked onto my back and wasn't letting go.
"G-gah! Get off of me!!" I yelled as I threw my back to the ground hearing a crack.
"Mmmmmphhhh! Stupid human! Why can't you just cooperate!"
I heard the muffled screams, and words of the demon from under me.
"Nezuko get up I have..an idea"
Knowing Tanjiro had always looked out for my safety, I trusted him and got up.
"Finally your listening now..just go on your knees and let me consume you human"
I was frozen as I looked up at Tanjiro who was running into a small shadowy cave.
Did he seriously leave me behind!? I started to really panic now, as my breathing got faster and heavier.
Then I heard something I didn't expect.....
The demon who was on my back a screaming not any words or anything directed at me.
It was screaming like it was in pain..?
I then saw the sun rising, happy tears fell out of my eyes as I felt the weight on my back vanish as the demon dissolved.
Tanjiro you genius!
