This 'Jinz' was going down! What kinda name was that anyways? Nobody was gonna stop me and my mate. I shifted into my white wolf (from my mom) with black on my nose (from my dad) and easily broke from the tough grasp of the vampries.
Suprisingly, I felt no pain, and sensing the alpha blood pulsing through my veins, the wise vampries stood clear of me, of course, not the very ones attacking my mate in the first place.
This angered me further and I charged towards the group. Suprisingly, the drug no longer affected me and I easily reached the door. In a blind fury, I lashed out, only seeing red.
I felt my claws hit a target nearly every time but I didn't stop, not until I no longer felt the pleasure of my claws sinking into flesh and I stopped, sad to have lost this pleasure. All I had time to see was my mate, on the floor, staring up at me with relieved and proud eyes.
Then, of course, a new bunch of prey appeared at the door. Growling at their insistence, I knew that this was all part of Mitchs' game. I again lashed around, easily beggining to thin the supply of vampires, when I realized.
These were the discarded vampires. The ones that Mitch no longer needed. He was sending them out, meaning for me to defeat them so his hands wouldn't get dirty.
The... argh! I couldn't think of a horrible enough word to describe the man! Sighing, I backed down, staring the remaining vampires down with warning eyes. I then began a speech:
"I have never noticed the true side of your 'master'." I said, my eyes flashing with anger.
"But instead I saw a loving grandfather, who let me call him 'Mitch' and never needed anything in return for his care for me except maybe a few blood drinks here and there. This became more frequent, and soon he was getting weekly supplies of my blood, and I was laying my life in his hands.
I then began to get tasks from him. The first was something simple, maybe getting a hair from my mother's brush so he could use it in an experiment. The most recent however, was killing an innocent man. Well, he was as far as I knew. I have learnt that, although still a loving grandfather" I looked around, a few of the vampires having wary or unreadable expressions.
Nevertheless, I continued. "So, as I was saying, although he is still a loving grandfather, he hates getting blood on his hands. His lets others do his dirty work, and then his disposes of them, or forgets they ever existed. At the moment, I still mean something to him, but clearly, he needs me to get rid of you.
I will not say a word to him about you laying hands on me or my mate, if you leave this room right now, and remember you need to get far, far away from Mitch, Master, or Mitchell, whatever you call him, he is dangerous. Please take the oppurtunity, or I will gladly do what Mitch wants."
One of the vampires, who I now knew as Jinz, spoke up,"And what makes you think we'll listen to you?" He said, causing many of the others to look at him with glances of disrespect,"I mean, little girly, yeah, your speech was just so touching, and it made my heart really bleed out to you and all" He said with a smirk, followed by snickers from his friends. "So really, your amazing speech, worthy of the queen, "Really touched us and I can only ask, why should we listen to a puny thing like you?" He finished with a triumphant smile.
I shook my head, my shoulders shaking with confident, silent laughter. "Well, Jinzy," I said, drawing out his nickname, "I'm afraid, you are quite outnumbered. Look around you, at all your little friends lying on the ground. You are about to be killed, by a girl, and I am the daughter of the famous and, extremely powerful, by the way, alpha Chad, and the great goddaughter of the fortune teller, Patricia Ora of the lake pack. I am afraid, you have no chance of surviving against me." I said, smiling when I saw him wince at his mistake.
But then he sat up straighter, grinning at me. "Well, I wish your little comeback was worth anything, because I'm assisting in the assassination of your beloved friend."
"Which friend?" I said worridly." I demand you to tell me, which friend??" He simply smirked and left the room. I ran blindly around, hoping to find the one person I really needed. I finally found mum's room, finding she was sleeping happily. I needed to talk to her so bad, I shook her awake. Except, she didn't wake.
A shadow came from behind the door. "No! Not you again! Don't touch me!" I screamed, causing the shadow to smile, feeding off of my fright. The last thing I felt was a prick in my arm, slowly becoming more painful, and the sound of Max' cries. The prick spread throughout my body, and I ended up with a painful body, as if something really bad would happen to me.
As if I was going to die.
Maybe that was a good thing.
Maybe I wanted to end it all.
Yes! End it all now.
I can't take any of this any more.
Let me die, finally.
