I felt like I was floating. A soft force pushed me to the clouds, nice clouds. They were fluffy. I liked fluffy things... canfyfloss, cats... yes. I reached out to a cloud with a white fluffy paw. Ooh! I was fluffy too! I grasped a cloud, and pulled myself towards it. I didn't like the air. It was cold, wet... like... getting out of a warm shower into the harsh cold. The cloud came closer... I was almost there. I sighed as I sat on it.... well, hovered anyway. I was flying. I heard soft voices, saying my name. A golden staircase appeared. I had always liked gold. I was climbing... higher... higher. Oh! A soft grass lay underneath my feet, and birds chirped around me. I had not a care in the world.

"Sapphire, Sapphire, it's time to go..." A voice said.

"I don't wanna go!" I replied, my voice babyish all of a sudden. I turned to face the soft-faced lady near me, smiling. She had the most dazzling green eyes, and silky black hair.

"Who are you? Do you know my mummy?" I said confusedly.

"Well.. yes I know your mum. My name is Eva. You don't belong here yet Sapphire. Say hello to little Eva for me? And Lili?" She asked, a tear trailing down her clear pale cheeks.

"I will. I promise." I said determined. I didn't like watching the pretty lady, Eva, cry. I began to walk away and stopped behind the bushes when I heard something.

"Eva what are you doing all the way out here? Come back where it's safe, dear." Said a masculine voice. The souce emerged from the trees behind Eva and stopped to look at her.

"Yes, Quinn. Just saying bye to Sapphire here." Eva said sadly.

"Isn't Sapphire Cassie's kid?" The man named Quinn said thoughtfully.

I ran out of the bushes, remembering a memory. "Quinn? The Quinn who my mother killed?" I said angrily.

Quinn turned to me. "Now you musn't blame your mother for it. Have you heard of the darkness?" He asked rhetorically," Well, anyways, the darkness overtook her, she had no control." I backed away from them, how could they forgive her so easily? After all she'd done to them? And assuming Eva was Quinn's wife, well, she really shouldn't forgive her either. I turned and ran, far away, but tripping up. My eyelids began to close, and I felt soft, cold hands touching my face. No! I wanted to stay! I couldn't go back!

"Oh Sapphire. Dear Sapphire. I just wish I could have been there when you were born. I'm so sorry. you are too young to come here. You have to help the people still down there. Goodbye, and good luck. I hope to not see you here very soon. Bye now." A tear hit my face.

It was Eva.
