Prince Charming

Sadie's POV
It was 7:50pm and we were all dressed and ready to get the party started!! I was wearing a white dress with see through material at the top and it had a black band going all the way around my waist with a black bow on. It had a cute little collar on with two rows of beads. I had a pair of white three inch heels on that black lining. I was wearing a neutral coloured lipgloss, white shimmer eyeshadow, cat eye eyeliner, mascara and blush. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled.
Piper was wearing a black strapless dress with patterned black material over the top and the skirt puffed out slightly. She was wearing some simple black three inch heels that were shiny. She had Ruby red lipstick on, white eye shadow as a base which turned into a black smokey eye, mascara and contouring.
Kaylie was wearing a floral dress that had black mesh at the top and covered my whole back. She was wearing some light blue (the same colour as the flowers on the dress) three inch open-toed heels, some peach/pink lipstick (same colour as the other flowers), peach eyeshadow, added a lot of contouring, a thin line of eyeliner and mascara.
Eliza was wearing a white strapless dress with black flowers on and two black lines going across it. She had some white and black two inch heels on. She was wearing a shimmer brown eye shadow with grey in the inside corner and crease. Also eyeliner and mascara.

We all took some selfies before heading to the theatre where the party was being held. Luckily the theatre was only a few minutes away from our building. As we were walking in 'She's so lovely' by scouting for girls was blasting out and lights were dancing across the room. There were refreshment tables lining one wall and a small podium was right near the back with the DJ and a requests form. We walked further into the crowd of dancing people and we all started singing to the words softly. We could see a few year seven and eights still lingering around but most of them had left. Most of the year nines were there and practically all the year 10&11s were filling the room. Sixth formers weren't attending the party as they get several parties throughout the year. I spotted a bunch if our friends from other years and bunches of fit lads dotted everywhere. We were suddenly met by two of our heR eleven friends and two (I was guessing year eleven) lass who were extremely attractive.
"Guys, this is Jerome," Cassidy said.
"And this is Declan," Poppy added.
"Guys, this is Sadie, Piper, Kaylie and Eliza," Cassidy said pointing to each of us.
"Nice to meet you," I said and we all greeted each other.
"Do you two mind grabbing us a drink?" Poppy asked and they happily went.
"Sooooooo??????" Poppy asked.
"Soooooo..............what?" I asked.
Cassidy rolled her eyes, "what d'ya think?"
"Oh haha. They are nice." I complimented.
"Nice? They are dead fit!!" Piper said.
The others all agreed. "Fair enough!" I stated. "They are pretty decent!"
"Pretty decent? Sade, they are smoking hot!!" Piper said.
Jerome and Declan had just come back and were stood right behind Piper, Cassidy and Poppy so heard everything.
"Errrrrr, Piper............" I tried to say.
"No okay. You cannot deny that Jerome and Declan are fit as!" She said.
"Piper, I think you should---" I once again attempted to intervene.
"I know. I know. They are older. And with them. And wayyyy out of my league but that doesn't stop me from appreciating their God like faces and bodies!!" She said.
"Piper, turn around!!" I finally yelled.
Her eyes went to twice the size as normal (A/N no jokes Izzy!! 😜) and she turned bright red.
"They're stood right behind me aren't they?" She asked and we all nodded. She closed her eyes and squinted. "How long?"
"Whole time. Since I said they were pretty decent." I told her.
"Excuse me one moment," she said and started walking away without out looking at the lads. She took about five normal steps before running to the edge of the hall and collapsing on one of the chairs.
We all laughed and started walking towards her. I was slightly behind the others and my oath was soon blocked.
"Excuse me!" I said tapping the guy in front of me.
"Oh sorry I didn't---- woah!" He said as he turned towards me.
"What?" I asked worriedly scared there was something on my dress or face.
"Nothing just, you're really beautiful!" He complimented smiling at me.

I suddenly burst into a fit of laughter earning me several looks from the people around me.
"I don't get it!" The guy said.
"Sorry!" I said clutching my stomach with one hand and wiping a tear from my eye with the other. "It's just that was such a cliché chick flick moment," I said.
"Oh." He said.
"No offence, it's just my life hasn't exactly been like a story so far!" I said going through memories in my head.
"Well, every good fairytale starts with a bad life, not saying you've had a bad life or anything, and then she meets her Prince Charming," he said and then took a bow. "They dance for the whole night," he then took my hand and led me further into the dance floor. "They stare in to each other's eyes," he said looking into mine. "And they fall in love with!" He finished.
I stared into his blue eyes for a moment then stepped back.
"Sorry, today is not the day for my 'Happily Ever After'," I said.
"It's Sadie isn't it?" He asked.
"Yes, how did you--? Oh, it's Bradley isn't it? Brad?" I said.
"Yeah." Bradley smiled.
"Well, catch you later Bradley!" I winked.
"Wait, can we have a dance later?" He asked.
"If you're lucky!!" I playfully flirted then walked to where I last saw the others.

All that was in their place was a couple snogging and a cup. I looked around to see if I could spot them. I couldn't really see anyone, not enough to recognise them anyway. Heroes by Alesso came on and I started mouthing the words subconsciously. I decided to just go walking through the crowd to see where they were. Who knows, maybe I'd see my Prince Charming again!!
