Sadie's POV
"Common mum!!" I yelled from the car.
"I'm waiting for your sister!" She yelled back.
I got out the car and slammed the door shut. As I marched through the door and up the stairs I shouted "Brooke, move your fat butt now!!"
"Im coming, I'm coming!" She moaned and pushed passed me on the stairs. I groaned as she walked to the bottom "Come on Sadie, we're waiting for you!" She said and then ran to the car.
I walked back out and climbed back into my seat. I quickly pulled my seatbelt on, "Drive!" I said and my mum sighed but started the engine anyway."Ugh!!!!" I moaned. It was half an hour later and we were stuck in traffic. I'd already said bye to Jadob as he was going to university anyway.
"Quit moaning!" Brooke said and shoved me.
I ignored her and said, "If I miss the train, you can drive me to........wherever the hell school is!"
"I'm soooo glad I'm in the sixth form because we get our own building for work and our own dorm rooms separate to yours!" Brooke said.
"Shut up Brooke!! Just shut up for five minutes!" I said finally breaking.
"Sadie Lavana Gregory!" My mum scorned.
"She was annoying me!" I said.
"I don't care, you do not raise your voice at your sister," she warned.
"Aren't you going to tell her off?" I questioned already knowing the answer was no.
"I was going to before you snapped at her!" She tried to explain.
"Surprise, Surprise. Of course you were!" I sarcastically muttered to myself under my breath.
"What was that?" My dad questioned suspiciously.
"Nothing," I smiled innocently. It was 8:30 and we were ten minutes away and still in a traffic jam.
"I'm never going to make it!" I said.
"You will darling I promise!" My dad smiled and I smiled back.
"We've moved about 20meters in the last five minutes, so I don't see how we're going to make it there on time," Brooke added.
"Be positive Brooklyn!" My mother told her.
"Yes mum!" She said and I managed to stifle a giggle.
Brooke glared at me so I plugged my headphones in and looked out the windows in front of me. 30 seconds to Mars was playing and I began softly mumbling the words
"What if I wanted to break
Laugh it all off in your face
What would you do? (Oh, oh)
What if I fell to the floor
Couldn't take all this anymore
What would you do, do, do?Come break me down
Bury me, bury me
I am finished with you"
I sang looking at the back othe car in front of me.
"What if I wanted to fight
Beg for the rest of my life
What would you do?
You say you wanted more
What are you waiting for?
I'm not running from you (from you)Come break me down
Bury me, bury me
I am finished with you
Look in my eyes
You're killing me, killing me
All I wanted was you"
I began singing it quietly now, nodding my head along to the words.
"I tried to be someone else
But nothing seemed to change
I know now, this is who I really am inside.
Finally found myself
Fighting for a chance.
I know now, this is who I really am.
Ah, ah
Oh, oh
Ah, ah
Come break me down
Bury me, bury me
I am finished with you, you, you.
Look in my eyes
You're killing me, killing me
All I wanted was you"
I carried on singing the song over and over again and I could sing it freely. Brooke had her headphones in and her eyes closed and my parents liked listening to my singing even though I hated performing. I was too tired to care at that point though, I just let myself go in the song and sang to my hearts content. We got to the station at 8:45am and we had to practically run to the right train. When we got there me and Brooke hugged our parents and then went to the side of the train. We showed a middle aged man our train tickets. He had black hair which stuck up slightly at the front and it was starting to go grey at the sides. He was wearing a typical uniform and was very tall. He then took our main bags and put them in the storage bit of the train and then we boarded the train. I quickly found the booth with Piper and Kaylie in and I shoved my carry on in the storage bit under our seats. Not a minute after I sat down did Eliza waltzed in. Let the new school year of trouble commence, oh such fun!!
