Kaylie's POV
I woke up at 7:00am and groaned when I remembered the date. I rolled over and rolled straight off the bed but luckily I landed on a pile of clothes. I quickly stood up and strolled into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth, shaved and brushed my hair. I then walked back into my room and swung open the doors to my wardrobe. I flicked through my clothes and saw the perfect outfit.

Once I'd gotten changed I grinned in triumph. I'd chosen a three quarter length sleeved grey top, a black leather skater skirt with my top tucked in, knee length black socks, a burgundy loop scarf and some black clunky heeled laced boots. I attempted to tame my ferocious curls but it was no use so I did what I could and left them. I applied some natural makeup and then I got my bags and put them straight in the back of the car.

Afterward I ran back up the stairs, slipped on my purple/grey sleeveless long coat, grabbed my handbag and went back downstairs. My mum was having a go at my older brother Thomas as I waltzed in.
"What did you do this time Tom-Tom?" I teased.
"Mum, tell her!!" he moaned.
"Kaylie Bridget Anders, don't spend your last few hours with us annoying your brother!" she warned.
"God mum, when you word it like that it sounds as if I'm dying. I'm only going to boarding school, oh wait..........going there is like death!!" I mocked and smiled sarcastically.
"Can't be that bad because you still come home every holiday!!" my dad said from behind me.
"Hi dad!" I grinned.
"Hiya darling!!" He said and pulled me in for a bear hug.
"Eat something Kaylie!" my mum said.
"I'm good mum," I said and smiled softly.
"I don't care, you are not leaving this house until you have some breakfast!!" she said and I immediately sat down as to not infuriate her anymore.

We then all stayed and talked for ages.
"You got everything Kay?" my dad asked.
"Yes dad!" I sighed. "I'm sooooo glad you have so much faith and trust in me!" I mocked.
"Trust and faith have nothing to do with it darling, it's just I found your phone charger in the front room!" he said and held my charger up.
"Errrrrrrrrr," I said, my cheeks flushing from embarrassment.
I grabbed the charger and went to put it in my handbag in the hallway. As I grabbed my bag I heard pounding footsteps behind me and I quickly spun around.
"Oh hey Hope!" I aid as I scooped my little sister up.
"I'm going to miss you!" she sniffed.
"I'm going miss you too little chick!" I laughed.
"You know so I don't forget you........." She started.
"Yes???" I asked suspiciously.
"Can I have your room?' she asked and then grinned cutely.
"I'm only going to be gone a few months Hope and then I'll be coming right back," I explained as I put her down.
"I know, but a few months is a long time and I might forget you!" she said, trying to sound convincing.
"You're not going to forget me so no, you can't have my room!" I said.
"Fine! Safe trip, I'll see ya when I see ya!" she said and walked away.
"Feeling the love Hope, feeling the love!!" I yelled after her.
"Whatever!" she said.
"God she reminds me of, well me!" I said to myself and walked back to the kitchen where everyone else was.
After a nice family conversation we all piled in the car after it had been loaded up with my brothers things (he's going to a college not too far from my school so he's going on the same journey). As I sat there and my dad started up the car I couldn't help thinking, here we go again...................
