It's blank. I flipped it to the backside of of the paper, nothing. "What do you want Gabe!" I growled angrily, looking all around me, until I saw a floating beer bottle, and it was whipped towards me, knocking me to the ground, leaving blood on my forehead. "What? I thought ghosts couldn't actually hurt me?" I mumbled, trying to keep the blood out of my eyes. He didn't do anything else, so I got up shakily, and I ran to the bathroom, vomiting.
"What did you do to Annabeth!" I heard someone yell, but I couldn't tell who, I couldn't even focus enough on the voice because I was busy puking my guts out. "Are you bleeding? What happened?" Piper asked, peeling me off of the bathroom seat, looking at my forehead. "Did you hit yourself?" She asked, and I shook my head.
"Somehow Gabe threw it at me." I said, before vomiting some more, leaning off of the seat when I finished.
"You're drunk, of course you are." She grumbled. "That's why Annabeth stormed off to her cabin." She said as if it all made sense now. "Let's get you up." Piper sighed, grabbing my arm and wrapping it around her shoulder.
"What's that?" I questions, pointing the above the door, but realization took over me and I instantly sobered up, "get out!" I shouted, grabbing Piper and throwing her out the door, getting her a fair distance away. "Boom"
My ears filled with a loud ringing noise and I could hardly see, everything was dusty. "Help!" I shouted, crying out. It didn't take long for me to notice the fire, but I couldn't go anywhere, I was trapped in the corner. "I'm stuck!" Fear took over me quickly, but I don't think anyone was coming, I'm gone for.
"We're coming Perce! Put out the fire ASAP!" I heard someone shout.
"If I kill myself now, will you please leave?" I asked, and a cut appeared on my arm, and writing appeared quick after. "Yes. And if you survive, I'll still leave." He said, and I nodded, grabbing Riptide, and I took off the cap, and Riptide grew into its full size. I've never thought I would be so afraid to kill myself, but here I am, holding riptide above my chest. "You do it." I said, and riptide went into my chest almost instantly, and I coughed, blood dripping. "Peace."
"Nice to see you again, Perseus." Someone said, and I looked up, seeing Gabe. We were still in the chaos, and I looked at him, he almost instantly stopped the fire.
"Am I dead?" I asked, and he shook his head.
"Almost, not quite. Now do you understand?" He asked. He looked ancient, his ghostly body was covered in scars from the fields of punishment.
"Yeah. What made you turn into such an asshole?" I asked, and he shrugged.
"My childhood wasn't golden either, I just had a different way of coping, and so did my siblings, which you killed." He growled, and I looked down shamefully.
"I never meant to, I never wanted to hurt anyone, I was scared and helpless, I had nobody in my life that cared other than my mom, who was hardly around." I sighed, and he nodded.
"Well, I'll see you in the fields, son." Gabe said, which sent shivers down my spine, son, the word didn't sit right with me, it made me anxious.
"Please save me." I whispered, and as if I manifested it, people broke down the rubble that kept me trapped.
"Shit he's barely breathing." Will muttered, "stay with me stay with me. Get a stretcher!" He yelled, and I fell to my knees, looking at Will and Jason put my body onto a stretcher and run to the infirmary.
"I don't want to die, please, I'll do anything, please." I begged.
"Anything?" I heard a voice ask, and I looked behind me, curiously. Thanatos.
"Anything. I have to make things right." I said surely, and he nodded, and pushed me, and I fell back into my body.
"Fix yourself up, don't make me regret this decision, if you do, I will kill you." He said, and it was the last thing I heard before I bolted up, scaring everyone around me.
"I'm alive? Thank Thanatos!" I sighed, the pain didn't even bother me. "Piper, are you okay?" I asked, noticing a few cuts on her and a couple bruises, but she nodded.
"You saved me, thank you."
"I found traces of alcohol in your system, how much were you drinking before?" Will asked me curiously, and I shrugged.
"A lot more than I should've. But I'm done, I'm going to check into a rehab, I'm going to get better, for real." I said, looking at Annabeth, who avoided eye contact with me, and I sighed, I don't deserve her.
"Is Gabe gone?" Nico asked me, looking around, as if he would be able to see him.
"Yes. He's gone, for good." I nodded, almost smiling, I felt relieved, like things could finally get better.
"How do you know?" Hazel asked me curiously, as if she thought I was lying.
"I talked to him. He said if I killed myself, he would leave, and if I survived, he'll stay gone, but he stabbed me." I said with a yawn.
"Let him rest you guys." Will said, patting my shoulder and walked away, and everyone else followed, and I closed my eyes, falling asleep.
