You heard a loud sound and turned to see the biggest tree falling apart. You looked over to the men who caused it. You saw they were talking but didn't hear much other than:

"I'll get Y/N to fix that," Said by Charles.

"Y/N?" Alex's voice wavered. Charles nodded over to where you were, already heading for the tree. Most of the students had turned their attention to you and watched as you placed your hand on one of the roots.

The tree stood back up and practically sewed itself together. Smiling at you work you were about to turn around when students crowded around asking about your powers.

"We'll take care of Scott, go say hi to her. She's missed you." Charles told Alex as the man stared at you.

Once the students who now each had a flower or plant of some sort dispersed your attention was drawn by a voice.

"They seem to all love you." Alex said.

"Alex?" You teared up and turned to him.

"Hey, Sapling." He smiled and opened his arms. You jumped into them and wrapped your arms around his neck burying your face in his neck.

"I thought you were..... and it hurt..... and i....." You sobbed into him.

"Shh. I'm here. I'm here" He mumbled into your hair. Just being held by him made your world feel whole again. When he went off in the military you thought that was it, that he was dead. Now that he's here and alive the sadness disappeared. After a while you pulled back and looked at him. Your eyebrows furrowed together and a wave of panic rolled over Alex.

"I thought you were dead! Don't you ever do something like that again. You complete idiot!" You smacked his chest a few times, all he did was chuckle. "What's so funny"
"You. God I've missed you and your attitude. You're a little softie, you would never hurt me." Alex said.

"I'm less of a softie than you at least." You point out.

"How?" A smirk was etched on both your faces.

"When we first moved into the mansion I heard you scream, like a little girl, all because of a spider." You chuckled and his face dropped.

"First I did not scream like a little girl. And second it was a massive spider. It was probably also venomous." He tried to explain.

"Hmmm, sure." You started to walk off but Alex followed you. He wrapped his arm around your waist and pushed his head into your neck.
"At least I had you to protect me."
