Luna had joined the Avengers just after Ultron. She was there for everyone but no one knew much about her. She was a skilled fighter much like Natasha, in fact she bested Natasha in combat one time. But for Wanda she was her light. She kept Wanda from drowning in her own sadness. Luna helped Wanda recover from her brother's death in the best way possible. Lots of time together and healthy coping. Even if Wanda wanted to stay in bed all day and mope Luna wouldn't let her, she brought her out to go for walks or train together.

Wanda was doing so much better and she was allowed to go out on a small mission with some other Avengers. She bid Luna goodbye and left. The other avengers who weren't on the mission were busy with other things that day leaving Luna alone in the tower. She took the day to clean the tower. She had music blaring and she was singing along to it. No one had heard her sing or even hum along to songs before and she planned to keep it that way.

She was mopping the kitchen singing "Rolling in the Deep'' By Adele when everyone arrived at the tower. A few floors away they could hear her angelic voice. In all honesty it sounded quite like Adele's but softer.

As the avengers, who were in the elevator, reach the floor that Luna was in they stay behind a corner listening to her and watch her clean.

We could have had it all

(You're gonna wish you never had met me)

Rolling in the deep

(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

You had my heart inside of your hands

(You're gonna wish you never had met me)

And you played it to the beat

(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

We could have had it all

(You're gonna wish you never had met me)

Rolling in the deep

(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

You had my heart inside of your hands

(You're gonna wish you never had met me)

But you played it

You played it

You played it

You played it to the beat

Luna hit every note with precision. Wanda realized in that moment why she let Luna take care of her and stay by her side for so long. So Wanda, being the confident woman she is, left the corner and walked into the kitchen. Luna heard the wood creek behind her and she panicked as the Avengers were not supposed to be home until later. Luna grabbed a kitchen knife and turned, throwing it at the person. The knife stopped right before Wanda's face and stayed there as Luna's hand stayed out stretched in her direction.

"Jesus Wanda! I thought you were going to kill me!" Luna said, though it took her a minute to realize why Wanda, and those behind her, were so shocked. A light surrounded the knife, like Wanda's but this one was a soft bluish gray colour. Luna let go of a deep breath and the knife flew back towards Luna. Just as it was about to hit her Luna caught it and placed it into the knife block. She looked over at her team and gave a small smile. "I'm sorry I just couldn't tell you guys yet. I- i was waiting for something important to happen. My powers have already been drained enough and I didn't want to use them unless it was important." Luna looked down at the floor. Wanda wasted no time rushing over and hugging the girl she loved.

Luna was a bit shocked at first but she hugged back. The rest of the team made their way over and hugged Luna as well. "You have no reason to hide." Wanda said. Luna nodded. After some questioning everyone dispersed, only leaving Luna and Wanda in the kitchen.

"I want to tell you something." Wanda said to Luna.

"Ok, i'm listening." Luna gave a soft smile.

"I've realized why I let you stay so close to me while I dealt with my grief. And I've realized why I need you to stay in my life. I... I love you Luna. I didn't think that was possible after my brother, but you have been there every step of the way showing me that I can love. And I love everything about you. You have the kindest heart and are strong for everyone. I don't know-" Wanda was cut off by Luna's lips against hers. Luna was a bit taller than her so when Luna wrapped her arms around Wanda she lifted her a bit. They were both smiling as they kissed each other.

A few months later they moved into the same room, still in the tower. They were attached at the hip most of the time and the rest of the Avengers were so happy for them. Tony would make a comment every now and then about how he was upset they chose each other instead of him, but it was all taken light heartedly. Though back to the fact that no one knew about Luna that much, Wanda learned a lot. She learned about everything she could about her girlfriend. But she never learned about what happened at night. Around 11 pm when Wanda had drifted off to sleep Luna would use her powers to keep her asleep as she snuck out. She would go to a secret lab she had, that not even Fury knew about. There she would work until the early hours of the morning. Only then would she return to the tower and lay down cuddling Wanda.

Wanda never knew until one morning when she woke up and didn't feel Luna next to her.

She rolled over and looked around the room. When she didn't see her girlfriend she got up and looked everywhere. She looked all around the tower and asked everyone but no one had seen her. Wanda stayed in the tower hoping that Luna didn't leave her, but she was panicked the entire day. All the other Avengers were panicked too, their comfort was missing and they seriously needed her to calm Wanda who was agitated and was getting aggressive.

Luna had lost track of time as she worked on her surprise for Wanda, and really anyone else. It had taken a lot of energy and time but it was worth it.

"So do you think she can feel me?" the man on the table asked.

"No, I blocked you from her head." Luna said smiling. Everything was lining up perfectly. "Ok, Pietro. Your vitals are all good and your speed is back. You all fixed."

"Thank you so much, Luna." Pietro said as he walked over to the girl and hugged her. She hugged him back giving him a bit more energy without him knowing this. Although this made her even more tired, from using her powers and sleepless nights, she was entirely drained. She collapsed in Pietro's arms.

"Oh, Luna! Are you alright?" He asked, holding her.

"Just tired. Do you think you can bring us back to the tower?" She mumbled. He nodded his head and picked her up bridal style and started to run. While he ran Luna closed her eyes, calming her mind. When the tired girl heard the familiar 'ding' of the elevator she wiggled out of Pietros arms and stood next to him (more like she was leaning on him). He smiled down at her and wrapped an arm around her.

"So everyone is going to freak out, and Wanda might kill us both, so take it slow with them." Luna looked up at Pietro.

"I'll try my best." He chuckled. The elevator door opened to the living room and Wanda was the first one to look up, but Tony was the first to say something.

"What the Fuck?"

"Surprise," Luna said, making jazz hands.
