Ludic Selcouth #3: Dancing Keys

It was the fourth day of the product launch campaign when we finally finished shooting for the all-group dance choreography. We were all satisfied with the outcome that they immediately divert their focus on the divided shoots. They started dividing the team into smaller groups to film the other scenes.

Naupo na ako sa gilid at pinanuod muna ang mga naunang napili para magshoot. Everyone is now getting along with each other, and I must say, the forming bond is good. Kami lang ata ni Ivoice ang hindi magkasundo rito.

Natawa ako nang makita si Kerry na todo bigay sa pag-arte habang gumagawa ng ilang dance steps sa shoot. She should've tried auditioning for celebrity hunts.

Ilang minuto ko pa silang pinanuod bago ko inilabas ang phone para tingnan kung may message ba si Paesyn. He's been busy these days because he's reviewing for his board exam that'll be two months from now. Nang wala akong makita na message mula sa kaniya ay ako na lang ang nagchat para itanong kung anong ganap sa kaniya.

I just waited for a minute when my phone suddenly vibrated. I suppressed my smile when I saw that it's Paesyn. Saglit ko munang iginala ang paningin at nang makitang may kaniya-kaniya namang ginagawa ang mga tao sa paligid ko ay mabilis ko na 'yong sinagot.

"Hey, still at the shoot?" his preamble.

"Yup. How about you? What are you doing right now?"

"Nothing. I was just thinking of you." I almost let out a laugh but I immediately contained myself.

"I was thinking of you too."

"Better. I thought you would tease me again." kinagat-kagat ko ang labi at tumitig sa sapatos ko.

"Let's eat together after I'm done here? Are you free?"

"The band and our manager hasn't call yet so I guess I am . Should I fetch... or no. Where do we see each other?" my heart sunk a bit when he didn't continue what he was going to say. Alam niya na agad na hindi ako magpapasundo, na mag-aaway lang kami kapag nagpakita na naman siya rito. Iʼm really feeling guilty but this is the best thing to do so we can avoid the people.

"In your place? I'll cook for you."

"You can cook?" napasimangot agad ako.

"Kaya ko na! Akala ko ba masarap yung steak na ginawa ko last time?!" he laughed heartily that it immediately erased my irritation.

"I was just kidding. Of course, you can cook now. You've been always trying to beat me in the kitchen as if we're on a cooking show."

"I should be better than you. I want to be a good cook so you'll eat appetizing foods."

"Are we talking about you being my wife now?" pakiramdam ko ay sobrang nag-iinit na naman ang pisngi ko kaya sinapo ko 'yon at medyo tinapik-tapik. I'm guessing that I'm red again and it'll be weird if the team will notice my tomato-like face.

"Shut up, baby Paepae."

"Sure, love." tatawa-tawang aniya.

Nagpatuloy pa ang asaran namin hanggang sa bigla nang may lumapit saʼkin na taga Polar. "Excuse me, Kinsella? Can we have you in this scene?" natigil ako sa pakikipag-usap kay Paesyn nang may iabot saʼkin ang babae na papel, it is a short script.

"Do we need to hung up?" Paesyn asked from the other line.

"No, wait, don't hung up please. Hold on a bit." ibinaba ko muna ang phone sa hita ko nang hindi pinapatay ang tawag.

I smiled at the woman before I briefly scanned the whole script. Habang nararating ko ang gitna ng papel ay unti-unti na ring kumukunot ang noo ko. What the heck is this? A gym scene, sexy sports wear, a couple of foxy dance steps in between two individuals. And they want to partner me with Aiken?
