Alexandria sat in the back of a cab on her way to the Avenger's Tower. It's been 3 days since she and Fury met at the café and with each day that goes by, she just gets more and more anxious. What if it's a trap? She thought to herself over and over again while fiddling with her phone. She wouldn't put it past Fury he wasn't always the most trustworthy person. Even if he didn't know it, Alexandria has known him for a long time, to put it another way, Fury wasn't the only one keeping tabs on people. In fact Alexandria had kept tags on all main 6 Avengers. She was well aware that there were plenty more members who had joined but honestly, they were open books, just by looking at them she could get everything she needed.
"We are here ma'am" The cab driver said as he parked the car in front of the tower.
"Thanks, put it on Nicholas Fury's tab" She said climbing out of the cab and making her way towards the front entrance of the tower. When the doors opened all, she could see was chaos. Interns running around, receptionist making a dozen phone calls a second, yelling from angry bosses and more.
"You made it" Fury said appearing from around one of the corners, "I'm pleased to see you didn't kill the cab driver."
Alexandria gave Fury a fake laugh as they stepped into the elevator and made their way upwards. On their way up she could see from the corner of her eye Fury looking at her strangely.
"Do I need to take out your other eye?" She asked irritated.
"Forgive me but it's weird seeing you in a yellow sundress one day and full combat gear the next" Alexandria was dressed in an all-black body suit with a dark blue cloak with a hood over it to conceal the belt which held all her guns and daggers. She had a pair of black combat boots on and her long dark raven hair was braided. Put that next to her three days ago and you have two completely different people. So couldn't really blame the Director for being so curious.
Alexandria heard a ding as the elevator doors slid open to reveal what you could call the 'living room' of the tower. Her and Fury stepped out and walked towards the centre of the room where the Avengers were waiting. They all looked anxious and weary of her presence and Alexandria liked it that way. If she turned up to a warm welcoming environment, then she would definitely be sceptical and would leave. That's strange... some of them are missing Alexandria thought to herself as she looked at the group. In the 'living room' was Tony stark, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff, Thor, Clint Barton, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, Sam Wilson, and The Vision. Where was the beloved Captain America?
"Who's the new girl?" Tony said eyeing Montgomery suspiciously.
"This is Alexandria Montgomery. She is one the world's best assassins and is one of the most dangerous people alive. If I were you, I wouldn't get on her bad side" Fury stated as the team looked her up and down trying to figure her out. However all they could see was a weapon with a blank emotionless face who appeared to not be able to feel anything.
"How good of an assassin is she?" Thor asked in his deep booming voice, looking between fury and Alexandria.
"I can tell everything about you just from looking at you, I can kill anyone you tell me to kill with any object I can get my hands on and without hesitation and let's just say I've been doing this for a really, really long time" Alexandria replies keeping her emotionless façade.
"Prove it" Thor says taking a menacing step towards Alexandria to try and intimidate her.
"Your name is Thor Odinson. You have two siblings, Loki, and Hela. Loki is the god of mischief and lies and is adopted. He is really a frost giant and the son of Laufey, but you didn't know that till a couple years ago when he tried to take over Asgard then New York. Your sister Hela is the goddess of death and is currently imprisoned by your father Odin. Your mother, Frigga, was stabbed by a dark elf while defending your lover Jane and your brother Loki was also killed by a dark elf when trying to save you. Well, at least you think he's dead. He has faked his death before; do you really think he wouldn't do it again? Honestly, you try to see the good in your brother, but you know deep down he'll always find a way to betray you. Anyway you're the god of lightning and thunder and you wield the weapon called Mjolnir and you're constantly boasting about how your worthy. However You and I both know there was a time when you weren't worthy after you were banished from Asgard because you tried to start a war between Asgard and Jotunhiem. Am I correct?" Alexandria says keeping a blank face the whole time while looking Thor dead in the eyes. What used to be a confident boasting god has now turned into a frightened and confused child.
"I have a sister... I never knew that" Thor says quietly to himself still in amazement that a girl he never met before knew so much about him, even more than he knew about himself. The rets of the team also looked shocked and almost scared of Alexandria.
"Montgomery you'll make an excellent addition to the team, if I were you, I'd tell them about your past and your... abilities. If you don't then I'll just give them the case file" Fury says making his way back to the elevator to leave the tower. "Oh and by the way" He says taking one last glance at her, "a certain someone you might know will be here soon..."
With that Fury left and went down to the ground floor in the elevator. What was he talking about? Who could Alexandria know who would be here soon? Everyone she has ever been, what you could say 'friends' with, should be dead. No one in the room talked for at least 10 minutes. They all eyed her up and down and sent glances and looks to each other. Alexandria couldn't blame them though. A girl they don't know comes to their home and tells them things about themselves even they didn't know. If it weren't for Fury, they probably would have thrown her out right then and there. After a long silence, the familiar ding of the elevator filed Alexandria's ears.
"Oh thank god they're back this is getting awkward" Tony sighed with relief. Alexandria turned around to the elevator doors to see who had just arrived. The elevator doors slowly slid open to reveal two tall broad men. In almost an instance Alexandria knew who they were, and not just from the research she had done on the Avengers.
"This can't be happening" She said in disbelief shifting the attention onto her. The men in the elevator froze when they saw the deadly woman.
"ALEXANDRIA?"
