"We meet again Sergeant Barnes" (Bucky x Fem Oc)

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧: "Doll keep your eyes open"

𝙰𝚕𝚎𝚡𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚒𝚊'𝚜 𝙿𝙾𝚅

I get dressed into my normal combat gear and the whole team climbs into the quin jet, even Peter and Bruce.

"SHIELD said we will be infiltrating a Hydra base but it's not your standard base. Apparently they have this big secret weapon or device that can be really dangerous" Tony explained as we flew to the hydra base.

"So let's just find the device and destroy it" Clint said simply sitting in the pilot seat beside Nat who was the co-pilot.

"We can't destroy it SHIELD wants to examine it" Steve said. SHIELD wanting to keep a weapon they think is highly dangerous. Sounds suspicious.

"Sounds a bit shady don't you think? I mean SHIELD says this thing is dangerous but would rather keep it for themselves then destroy it?" I raise my eyebrow at Steve and Tony.

"She's right Steve that does sound shifty" Bucky said looking concerned.

"Huh when did you start agreeing with me?" I say sarcastically to the man who just ignored me and rolled his eyes.

"It's just Fury's orders. Let's just do what he says and get this over with so we can go home" as Steve said that the quin jet landed and the doors opened. I put in my communication device and loaded my guns. I step out of the jet and follow Nat to the front of the base.

"Nat, Alex, you guys go in first and Clint, Wanda and Pietro will follow after you" Steve's voice rang in my ears. Nat and I stepped inside and already bullets were flying everywhere. While Nat hid behind a corner I ran forwards and tried my best to knock the agents out and put them in cuffs but it wasn't working. I feel a sharp pain go through my leg. I look down to see a clean bullet hole, my whole leg stung with pain and my face scrunched up.

"Sorry guys didn't want to do this but your not leaving me any other choice" I charge at the agents and take them all out in a matter of seconds. Shooting them in between the eyes or throwing my daggers at their necks. One agent came running at me and I punched them in the face and wrapped my legs around their neck to bring them to the ground. I could see Nat and Clint also taking out agents while Wanda used her powers and Pietro zoomed around the place. I heard a distant roar, Banner.

"How's Bruce doing?" I said over the comms as I helped Nat.

"He's fine but theirs a lot of agents here- KID BE CAREFUL!"

"Sorry Mr. Stark!" Peter squeaked as I heard grunts coming from some agents.

"Alex follow Bucky and Sam to try and find the weapon. Vision and Thor you two make your way to the other end of the base to take out any other agents that may be lurking around." I followed Steve's orders and searched for Bucky and Sam. When I found them I followed them through the narrow dingy hall ways. I could see Bucky look a bit nervous and jumpy which is starnge since he's always acting like a tough asshole.

"You okay Barnes? Look a little pale" I say  teasingly as I turned a corner to check if it was clear.

"I'm fine, I just never get used to coming back to these places..." I nod my head and follow Sam into a big room. The room was pretty much empty except for a few desks and chairs that were scattered around and a long iron bench with strange machines on them.

"Do you think one of those is the device we're looking for?" Sam said looking at the bench. I shrug my shoulders and the twos boys make their way over to examine it. I scan the room and crouched down to look through one of the desk draws, they were filled to the brim with files. I can hear Bucky and Sam rustling around and the sound of the cold metal clunking together. 

"Guys there's nothing here lets keep moving" I say standing up to look at the boys. When I got  I could see the shocked face of Sam. 

"Alex behind you!" He shouted but it was too late for me to react. I felt something clamp around my neck, something metal and heavy. I felt it tighten and squeeze my skin. I tried to pull it off but it was no use. I turn around to see the man who had put the thing on me. He was tall, skinny, wore a long white lab,coat and looked like he hadn't seen the sun for days. I grab the man by the neck and push him against the desk.

"Alex wait don't kill him! He obviously isn't an agent and could be useful to us" Sam said as he and Bucky walked towards me.

"Who are you?" I say and I glare down at the man.

"That's not important" he just smiled up at me.

"What the hell is this doing on my neck" I pointed to the collar like thing around me. I could feel it digging into my skin.

"That is a special collar that we have designed, it cancels out someone's ability to heal or regenerate quickly" my eyes widen and my heart rate quickens. Cancel someone's ability to heal? Did that mean- "Want to see how it works?" the man reaches for my utility belt and pulls out one of my daggers and plunges it into my chest. I let go of his neck and groan out in pain.

"ALEX!" Bucky rushes over to me and catches me before I fall to the ground and collapse. God when I got stabbed before it never hurt this bad. Pain flowed throughout my entire body and blood poured from me. "Alex keep your eyes awake I promise everything is going to okay!" Bucky wraps his hands around the collar to try break it off. 

"Bucky we have to get her back to the jet! Let's go!" Sam said as he scanned the room, "Fuck the guys gone." Bucky scoops me up in his arms and he and Sam run out of the building.

"Guys we have to go Alex is down!" Bucky yells to the team over the comms.

"What the hell do you mean?" Clint says back.

"This guy put this collar on her and she's not healing. She's been stabbed and is going to bleed out if we don't leave now!" Bucky and Sam turn a corner sharp and I can hear the others fighting in the distance.

"EVERYONE TO THE QUIN JET!" I feel my eyelids become heavy. I close my eyes for what feels like a second but in the literal blink of an eye I'm laying down in the quin jet surround by the rest of the team. I feel the jet start to life off the ground.

"No, no, Doll keep your eyes open" Bucky says as he continues to claw at the collar. "I promise everything's going to be okay-" I put my finger up to his lips to silence him.

"Don't do that Barnes. Don't make a promise you can't keep" I smile weakly at him as I felt the blood pour from me onto the floor beneath me. "And what did I say about calling me doll?" Bucky gives me a sad smirk and caresses my face.

"Even when your dying you're a bitch" I feel my eyes start to close.

"Alex no! You can't die, not here, not now!" Nat, Wanda and Pietro rush to my side and I feel Peter grab my hand.

"No it's okay" I smile at them and squeeze Peter's hand, 'It's okay."

"No don't say that kid your gong to be alright" Tony said rushing to me. I saw Clint, Thor, Sam, Vision, and Bruce stood off to the side looking sick with worry.

"Tony I'm older than you remember" I let out a laugh but wince at the pain. A single tear rolls down my eye and I feel more threatening to spill. "Listen, whether I live or die, it's okay. If I live I get to spend another day with all of you, and if I die... then I'll finally get to be at peace. Do you know how many times I have just wanted to never wake up or just throw myself off a building?" I let out another laugh as more tears fall from my face.

"DON'T TALK LIKE THAT!" Bucky yells as he tries harder to rip the collar form my neck. "CAN YOU MAKE THIS DAMN JET GO ANY FASTER!?" I hear the team yell and shout at each other as my eyes slowly close.
