Your breathing quickened as the sword pressed against your chest. Tears pricked your eyes.
Crimson.
The beautiful shade of red that flowed through your veins. The beautiful shade of red that gave you life. The beautiful shade of red that painted the cold stone in your mind.
"Please..." Your voice was barely a whisper as tears pricked your eyes. Shutting your eyes, the grip around your own sword tightened, desperate to find any comfort. "Please... please.."
Tommy sighed as he awkwardly scratched the back of his head, not really knowing what to do. He didn't know how to comfort someone. Let alone someone who seemed fine up until the moment they woke up.
"(Y/n)..." He lowered the stone sword and walked closer. "Uh.."
Your eyes were clenched as tears ran down your cheeks, staining your (s/c) skin. Your chest was rapidly moving as you clenched a fist in front of it and the other hand pointed the sword at Tommy. You felt your breaths become faster as the image of the warm, crimson flashed through your mind. Your own lifeless eyes staring back at you.
You were shaking.
Tommy's features softened as he noticed this, familiar with the feeling.
You were scared.
Sighing, he walked closer to you, slowly taking the sword out of your hand and placing it on the ground. "Count with me. From 10. Breathe. Alright?"
Your breaths were shaky and you managed to nod. Tears still spilling from your green orbs.
"10."
Deep breath in.
"9."
Exhale.
"8."
Deep breath in.
"7."
Exhale.
"6."
Deep breath in.
"5."
Exhale.
"4."
Deep breath in.
"3."
Exhale.
"2."
Deep breath in.
"1."
Exhale.
You felt your breath become slower as your heartbeat slowed. However you still felt anxious, unsure of how to deal with any of it.
"Uhm- You can get through this?" He awkwardly placed his hands on your shoulders as he got you to focus on his face. "Do you need anything now?"
Taking slow breaths, your blurred vision started to clear up as Tommy's face became clearer. You blink a few times, nodding. Your voice was still shaking as you managed to croak. "Maybe a bottle of water.."
"You gonna be okay if I leave you out here? Or do you wanna come with me?" He let go of your shoulders and took a few steps back.
"I'll be fine." You whispered out and sat on the snowy floor, facing away from the swords on the ground beside you. "I'm fine."
He hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Alright. Whatever you say." He scratched the back of his head as he walked away, the sounds of his footsteps becoming faint as he walked into the house.
