You break me

I wake up the next morning. My head is throbbing in pain. I can't believe I drank so much. I soon fall out of bed running into the bathroom.

I'm vomiting like crazy. I rest my head on my arm. I'm feeling extremely nauseous. I hear the bedroom door open.

I see Robert walk past the bathroom. Just seeing him made me angry. He stopped to find me near the toliet.

He dropped his clothes on the floor coming toward me. I kept waving him away. He kneels down stroking my hair.

"Don't touch me!" I exclaimed.

"Baby, are you okay? Want me to get you something?" asked Robert sweetly to me.

"I don't need anything from you. Leave me alone!"

Robert gets up leaving the room. I started crying once he left. I know he is sorry but, this is beyond betrayal. How will know he won't hurt me again.

I finally sober up walking downstairs. Shana is sitting on the couch watching TV. I go over to her taking a seat.

I soon felt her arms around me. I begin to cry on her shoulder. She rubs my back slowly rocking me from side to side.

"I'm sorry to about what Robert did to you. He is such a jerk." sighed Shana.

I back away wiping the tears away.

"Shana, I don't know what to do. I love him so much. I mean I get why he did it." I said.

"No, Lori. You didn't deserve it. Things may have falling apart between you both. But, cheating is no excuse."

"What should I do?"

"I think you should ask for a divorce. He needs to learn from his mistakes."

"No, I can't do that."

"Lori, if you want to teach him a lesson. You have got to do it."

I rest my head on my hand. I don't want to divorce Robert. I want to fix this. For some reason, I'm afraid it won't work.

I pull up to North Ridge. All the students are outside waiting for their rides home. I walked around searching for this Janice girl.

I see her coming out of the school building. Headphone in ears as she walked through the courtyard. I follow behind her trying to catch up with her.

I tap her shoulder and she spun around quick. I can see her expression was annoyed.

"What?!" snapped Janice.

"You're Janice right?" I asked.

"Who want to know?"

"My name is Lorina Downey. Your Principal's wife."

Janice raised an eyebrow. Basically amused at what I said. She must be one of those bad girl types. I never knew Robert was into that type.

"You're prettier in person. I'm assuming you found about us." mentioned Janice.

"I did. I want you to stay from him." I spit.

"Listen Lady, you don't need to tell me anything. Your husband stopped seeing me a month ago."

"He did?"

"Uh yeah."

"How do you feel about that?"

"I don't care. I only fool around with older men for kicks."

"Oh."

"I got to go. Sorry if I ruined your marriage."
