falling in love seems so perfect
until it's 2am and you can still feel their hands linger your body
you can still hear their voice in your ear
until it's 2am and you miss them
and wish nothing more than to say
I love you please just come home
until it's the middle of the day and you smell the same cologne and everything settles in
until you find someone new and realize you will have to explain everything
all over again
until it's months later
and you are still laying in your bed
replaying the memories that are painfully fading
until you see them with someone else
and your spirit is shattered
falling in love seems so great
but you're always just falling
