YN's POV
I got inside Merciel and started looking for a seat, but before I could even find one, a voice called my name which was familiar and of course, it was Tae.
He got up from his chair and gave his signature Winter Bear hug which is one of the cutest things in the world. We both sat down, but he did not pull my chair back for me like they do in K-dramas, so without any specific reason I taunted.
"You know that we are close friends not lovers, but Why. You. Did. Not. Pull. The. Chair. For. Me," I blurted which made him laugh that his eyes filled up with holy water.
"Yeah! We are not lovers that is why I did not pull that chair. Stop watching those dramas kid, otherwise you will not be able to control yourself from asking me to do weird unholy shits with you," he remarked shamelessly. I could not help out, but moved my head side to side.
"We are close friends nothing else and that is the best for an alien and a weirdo." My words made both of us giggle at the same time.
"I have ordered our regular meals and it will be here any minute. By the way, if you do not know then I would like to tell you that you look like as if it is a date or something," he avowed to which gave me an opportunity to cross examine him for the same.
"You are wearing a suit too, are you going in a fancy party?" I cross questioned before talking about my opinion.
"I have to go somewhere because of my business and stuff and today five top companies of Korea are going to increase their popularity, so you better wish me luck," he announced with a slight smile on his face.
"You have my luck apparently, I did not have something idyllic to wear so this was my last option,' I mentioned while admiring the beautiful outfit that Chaerin gave me.
Our food finally came and we started to eat with a peaceful ambience. I could hear people talking, eating loudly and little music playing in the background. Everything was going fine until Taehyung started to eat. He was making weird sounds while eating which was getting on my nerve little by little.
"Tae, you know that I hate food-eating ASMRs and you are doing one right infront of me," I told rudely and thank goodness, he stopped his ASMR session and started to eat decently.
Time Skip~
After having our meals, we went for a walk in a nearby park. We were walking with a comfortable silence between us. I remembered the time when we used to play in the park even when we were grown up teenagers. Memories give me nostalgia, serendipity, but most likely tears.
Tae stopped all of a sudden and grabbed me by my shoulders and looked into my eyes which were already a bit teary and his sudden move made all of them fall one by one. He quickly pulled me into his embrace and without even saying a word he caressed my back for comfort. After crying, when my sobs minimized, I wiped them on my own and whispered an 'I am okay now' to him.
"YN listen, I may not be the right person to say this, but trust me...you are precious, you are power of many people so do not feel hurt please, for your loved ones. Life goes on and we should deal with it at any cost rather than giving up. I can not feel your pain, but I can do anything for you to get over it," he gave voice to me for which I just nodded my head in response.
"Life gives challenges to the ones who are brave and I agree with life, we can not show our 32 pearls everytime, right? You helped me when I was suffering, when nobody gave me their backs, but you helped me and I am lifelong grateful for that. Ohh...did not I gave a long lecture, ughh...nevermind, you look pretty.......I mean pretty ugly with these tears," he said sincerely and laughed hard at the last part. I punched him lightly on his chest to describe my anger for what he spoke, but his words made me laugh too.
"I have to go, it is kind of late so bye and text me whenever you will get time and I am really sorry for not being able to drop you, weirdo," Tae vocalized being sad.
"It is okay alien, I will go by myself, but right now I am going to somewhere else so you better get going," I uttered and kissed his cheek and he did the same.
I saw him passing by like a Vogue Model with that walk of his body. I smiled all by myself and sat inside the taxi which Tae stopped for me and he payed for me on the hand.
"Take me to the orphanage please," I ordered to the driver and sighed heavily.
