Rebekah knew something was wrong with her brother from the moment he walked down the stairs. Gone was the smile on his face from the night before. Now replaced with an agitation she hadn't seen since before his night with Bonnie. He didn't ask if Rebekah would be seeing the young witch today nor did he ask his hybrids about last nights patrol. He barely looked up from whatever papers he had been reading all morning.
"Bonnie said she would be by after school today" Rebekah told Klaus, and Elijah, who was on the armchair by the fireplace reading the morning paper. Klaus looked up at Rebekah with a frown.
"What would the Little Witch be coming here for?" He asked making both of them look at him. Elijah knit his brows together as he took in his brother's demeanor. He wasn't being playful, he wasn't mad, he was genuinely confused. As if Bonnie had no reason to be here.
"Because I asked her to, last night, so we could go over what we need" Rebekah told him, her voice laced with confusion. Klaus frowned as he looked down at his sister.
"Sister if you need a spell done there are easier witch's to get that from then Bonnie Bennett" Klaus muttered, taking the paper in his hand and walking out. Rebekah looked at Elijah on confusion.
"Did something happen between Niklaus and Miss Bennett?" Elijah asked making Rebekah frown. Shaking her head she looked at her well dressed brother.
"No, they were thick as thieves last night, he'd even gifted her Ayanna's grimoire" Rebekah said, remembering how Bonnie gushed over it. It was adorable really. She had been excited to tell Klaus how much the witch adored her present. Until now that is.
"Ayanna's grimoire? His feelings for her were stronger than I thought" Elijah said thoughtfully before he turned to where Klaus had walked out. "What in the world brought this on then, it's like he doesn't care what she does anymore" he thought aloud. Rebekah nodded as she looked towards her brother.
"It's almost like how he treated her before their night together, though even before that he was interested in her, he was certainly interested in her powers" Rebekah said as she looked to where he brother had gone. Hearing him rummaging through papers.
"So then, dear sister, what brought about this change?" Elijah asked, making Rebekah's frown deepen. Taking a breath she shrugged.
"I have no idea" she admitted before looking down at her phone. Taking a breath she looked back up. "But I will find out" she promised, causing Elijah to give her a nod. The original went back to his paper before he looked up at her again, this time his confusion was tinted with amusement.
"Their night together?" He asked making Rebekah take a breath. She hadn't meant to let that slip.
"Not another word alright" Rebekah said, pointing a knife at him. "I promised Bonnie I wouldn't say a thing, it was her first time, and she was feeling more than a bit guilty" Rebekah confided in her brother. Elijah's eyebrows rose at that. The small Bennett witch had given her virginity to his brother? Mystic Falls had changed more than he initially thought.

Bonnie smiled as she walked into the school with Rebekah. The pair wearing their cheer outfits as they strolled in together. Tonight was their last day as cheerleaders. Caroline said they should look into college cheerleading but Bonnie was done with it.
