The next 2 days it had been quiet enough for the 4 of them to develop a routine. The witch and vampire went to school preparing for their prom and beginning preparations for graduation. The Winchester's on the other hand spent most of the morning looking through lore on Silas.
After school Bonnie and Caroline would meet the brothers at Grams house where they would comb through her grandmothers books. Sam and Caroline could see Bonnie and Dean slowly getting closer, even if neither of them would admit it. From simply Bonnie handing Dean a beer, without him asking, or Dean helping Bonnie grab something from a high surface. They didn't fail to notice the secret smiles they shared, even if Sam had no idea what it was for, Bonnie, Dean and Caroline did.
Caroline was torn between feeling happy that her friend was finally beginning to act like herself, and worry, about who was causing it. She was sure that Dean felt something for Bonnie but she was worried about his past. While researching Silas he made it clear how he felt about witches and she saw Bonnie's face fall whenever he did.
Sam on the other hand was happy. He actually genuinely liked Bonnie. She was a nice change of pace. Unlike other females she called Dean out on his shit and could argue with him about anything. Yet she was still soft with him in the moments they let themselves be. Soft looks, her bringing him food, he even saw her lay a blanket over Dean when he fell asleep on the couch. Yet while he was sure she wouldn't do anything to hurt them, he felt like she was hiding something.
Sam watched as the two sat across from him at the grille, both with large burgers in front of them. His look of disgust at the amount of grease that dripped made Caroline laugh. Sam watched as she threw her head back to laugh at her, her smile wide.
"Just let it go, I can't even get her to eat right for cheer season, and I can get anyone to do anything" she told him, digging into her fries. Sam tilted his head at her words.
"You're a cheerleader?" He asked her, causing the blonde to smile at him brightly. Dean looked over a Bonnie a smirk on his lips as he thought on their words.
"Won the state championships two years in a row because of Caroline" Bonnie told him, taking a sip of her soda, not realizing Dean was watching her.
"That's because I have Bonnie, she's the best damn flyer the Timberwolves ever had, most flexible too" Caroline added with a wink. Deans eyes widened at the implications, wondering just how flexible she was. Seeing his face Bonnie rolled her eyes.
"Care cut it out, I think he's getting wrong idea" Bonnie told her best friend, steeling one of her fries, as she chuckled lightly. Caroline outright laughed as she took in Sam's face.
"Oh relax, I'm not talking about that, actually Bonnie's the only one who-" Caroline said before stopping herself, looking at Bonnie. "Wait can I tell them?" She asked her friend, smiling when the witch shrugged and waved her hand, not caring either way. Caroline knew the small witch never cared if people knew, hell the whole school knew Bonnie was he last senior to lose her virginity.
"Well Bonnie's the only one who's still a virgin" she told the hunters, who looked at each other in shock. Bonnie sighed as the memory of Klaus bombarded her mind, the witch looked down at her fries, suddenly unable to look at her. Maybe she shouldn't have given the vampire permission to tell them anything. Now she felt worse about keeping all these secrets.
She can't remember the last time she kept anything from Caroline. She was Bonnie's best friend since infancy, she's only ever kept being a witch from her and that was more for Grams sake. Something like this though, never, Caroline was always the first she'd tell. At least that's what she thought.
"What? How? You're gorgeous" Dean asked making Bonnie look up at him in surprise. He'd told her before but they'd been messing around, snarking back and forth. Now he seemed genuinely confused.
