The aftermath of anything truly violent is hard. A tornado ripping through a county destroying everything in it's path. A title wave rushing over a village sweeping everyone away. A riot where people destroy their home and themselves.
Or a tribrid that goes on a warpath and kills a lot of people. I was in the aftermath at this time. Though if I had of known what was going to happen next I would have not let that bloodbath faze me. I would have kept it going and took it to the real villain. Root and centre.
This was the day I would remember for the rest of my life. The end of it all.
Hope POV
Memories swarmed through my head. Bodies lying everywhere. Blood on every inch of the room. Then at my hands that were also covered in blood. Vampires, witches and werewolves. It didn't matter. They were all dead.
Then another memory of of what just happened. Witches coming at me and me loving the thrill of tearing them all down. Of laying waste to their leader and then easily killing the rest. Jade had showed up and stopped me killing this one girl who got away. I was mad at her. For stopping me from killing her too.
I wanted nothing more in that moment to chase her and catch her. Rip her to shreds in the very streets. Then everything had went black.
I woke up and sat bolt upright in my bed and panted heavily. The iron taste in my mouth gave me an insane hunger. Even though I had quite the fill of it last night. I looked around and saw a glass of blood. I took it greedily and gulped it down like a thirsty animal. It was then I felt satisfied and slammed the glass down which caused it to shatter.
The door opened and Lizzie came into the room in a hurry.
"Hope. You are awake. I was beginning to get worried."
I noticed the way her eyes roamed and stayed lingering on my exposed chest. I was still naked from turning into a wolf and the sheets that had covered me were now down.
Lizzie sat down and pulled me in for a ferocious kiss. Her tongue danced over mine and all I could do was respond my letting my hands run down her back and then proceed to lift her onto my lap so that she was straddling me. Lizzie went to kiss my neck and I moaned loudly and gripped onto her shoulders tightly.
Lizzie whimpered.
I pulled back and Lizzie seemed to look a bit sad with a pouty face.
"I didn't hurt you, did I?"
Lizzie shook her head.
"No babe. You could never hurt me."
I held her hand and looked at the Mikaelson ring she had on it. I remembered having it custom made as it also had the S on it too to show the Saltzman side. I kissed her hand and then gently lowered it.
"Can we talk for a moment?"
Lizzie nodded and got off me a bit sheepishly with a blush on her face.
"I am so sorry. I shouldn't have come in here and attacked you like that. Please forgive me."
I held her hand.
"No. Please don't think I don't appreciate it. Any other day I would have you right here in this bed. That was incredibly sexy. You are incredibly sexy. And beautiful."
Lizzie blushed more and looked down but leaned in to kiss me on the cheek all the same.
"How is Olivia by the way. I lost my trail of thoughts in that moment."
"She is a bit shaken up but fine. I did a few spells on her this morning to make sure that everything is fine. While she said she heard chanting in her head last night, it seems to have cleared up today. As you know, Oliva is strong. I think she has learned that from you, Hope."
