There was moments in life when I thought I had reached peak anger. An anger so strong that I thought it would consume me and I would never feel anything else again. Maybe it was the time when I nearly lost Lizzie. Or another time when I woke up to find that I had become a vampire. Or another time I don't want to think about.
Boy was I wrong. The anger I felt when I discovered Olivia had been hurt could have went around the sun and came back again with the fierceness of my rage. And as always my rage needed an outlet and I was about to find the right one.
Hope POV
Olivia had fell asleep as Lizzie brushed hair out of her face. I smiled slightly before asking Lizzie what I had been looking to know.
"I saw that look, Lizzie. Where have you seen that mark before?"
Lizzie shook her head. Almost if she didn't want to tell me but then her eyes locked in mine and she nodded her head just a bit. I didn't need a mirror to know my eyes were glowing red as I got angrier.
"Fine. I have been doing research about the many covens to see who could be dangerous. It was just for my curiosity mostly. I had started it before all these reports of dark magic showing up. Then it seemed as important as ever. That mark is all over a building in the lower part of the city. And they haven't been there for long either. My informants have told me that the building has been vacant for sometime until then it wasn't. Though there threat level is very low. There isn't the feel of strong magic that you would get with a coven that is doing heavy magic."
I nodded.
"Jade stop the car."
Jade put her foot on the breaks and the car came to a stop. I got out and turned back.
"Get our daughter home safe, love. I have got some investigating to do. I will there shortly. Pick up Faith on the way."
I kissed Lizzie on the lips and she melted into. A sigh escaped my lips and I let the feeling in for a second before pulling back and kissing Olivia on the forehead and pulling back to exit the car.
"But Hope...."
I didn't hear the rest as I closed the door with a thud and sped of into the night.
Stefanie POV
"I am sorry to hear about that Izzy."
Isabella just shrugs before downing her glass and setting it back down hard. I was surprised it didn't smash.
"It is what it is. We fight and then I end up here. I get so drunk to forget about it and then we don't talk about in the morning."
She chuckled darkly and the smile that came didn't really reach her eyes.
"Anyway we should get out of here. I am tired and this bar feels like its closing in on me."
Isabella stood up and wobbled on her feet before falling forward. I acted quick and caught her as she fell against me. I was slightly drunk too but no one could ever beat Izzy at drinking.
"Thank you Stef. I really thought I was going to fall over there."
I adjusted her and she put an arm around my shoulder.
"No problem, Izzy. I got you. Always."
I walked over to the door and I closed it behind me with a flick of my hands and the lights went out. I was about to continue walking when I saw something lying on the ground. I kept Isabella straight up with great difficulty while I picked it up. It was a golden pocket watch. I twirled it in my fingers and I saw something inscribed on the back. I squinted my eyes and it was really hard considering I could really see in the dark and being drunk all. I was just about able to make out two initials.
