I started out in darkness, with a greenish haze around me. I was desperate to get out.
I didn't know how. There was someone outside, someone with a gentle voice and a nice touch. I was more desperate to get out. I had to do it.
"Come on, little one. You can do it." A voice said. A kind voice, but not like the one I heard before. This one sounded male. I really needed to get out now.
"She might be stuck. Can't we help her Gill?" Asked the gentle voice. Gill shook his head. I could feel it.
"She isn't stuck. I know it Coral. I know it."
I heard the voices who encouraged me again. I heard them stronger. I felt stronger.
And then I hit my head against something solid.
     It cracked!
I kept hitting my head against it. A while later, I had gotten no further. I stopped to rest. Soon enough, I started again. There were places to be, and I would not miss them for the world.
And after a while, my cage splintered apart.
I stepped out into the wonderful -and bright- world of freedom. I turned around and saw the small cage where I was held. It was kind of like a round cone.
I heard a gasp and I turned around. A beautiful dark blue dragon was staring at me with the most lovable and kind eyes I ever saw. I climbed into her legs.
"Let's bring her to the Deep Palace." Said a green dragon not far from the dark blue one. I looked at him and realized how much we looked alike. That must be father. I thought. So then who is this? I poked the dark blue dragon's snout. She laughed.
"She looks like you, Gill." The dragon said. Gill laughed.
"Well, she's ours." He replied. Oh. I thought. This is mother! I followed the two dragons to the shore of where we were. There was a tunnel under the water.
"Come on, little Orca." Coral said. "This way. Do you know how to swim?"
"Orca?" Gill said with a chuckle. "You're naming her Orca?"
"I mean, I was also thinking about some other names. Would you like 'Tsunami' better? Or 'Auklet'? How about 'Anemone'?"
"You were reserving those for your other daughters, weren't you?" Gill said accusingly. Coral laughed.
"Anemone was a name for one of my daughters, yes. But the other two I just came up with on the spot. And anyways, she doesn't really look like any of those, does she?"
"No, I think Orca suits her perfectly." And they splashed down into the waters.
