Oh, and Orca's seven now, because I can 😏.

Orca could feel the eyes staring at her as she made her way to the hatchery where two new eggs were waiting. One was a male, the other was a female, and therefore the heir to the throne.
As Orca entered the hatchery, she shot the female egg a withering look, as if to say the throne is mine and you can't take it from me.

Now, Orca, now being seven years old, had decided she'd had enough of waiting to challenge her mother, and she was going to do it tomorrow. So, in the meanwhile, she was in the hatchery ready to enchant something.
Okay, what do I enchant? There's nothing here. I could enchant the egg, but that would only be one egg . . . and when I died, I wouldn't be able to do it. No, that wouldn't work. I would need something to enchant the eggs, or I could just enchant something to break the eggs before they hatched. But what?

An idea popped into Orca's head. She was good at carving. And she had animus magic . . .
Orca burst out the hatchery and swam as fast as she could to the nearest ledge of rock. Once she did that, making sure no one was around, she flashed in Aquatic for the stone to dye itself lime green and shape itself like Orca, and if anyone was around it would stop and Orca's hands would to the work themselves until that dragon would not be able to see the statue.
Soon, there was a lime green statue of Orca, complete with sapphires for eyes. Orca swam back to the hatchery, and came face to face with her mother.
Orca! I haven't seen you in a while. Queen Coral flashed. What's that?
This is a statue that I made of myself. I thought I could put it in the hatchery to watch over the dragonets and kind of send them a secret message, like 'I'm your older sister Orca. I love you'.
That's a great idea. Do you need help carrying it?
No, it's pretty lightweight. But thanks.

Orca swam past her mother and into the hatchery again. She made a quick pedestal to attach the statue on, and she used animus magic to make sure the statue didn't float off of it. Then she enchanted it.
I enchant this statue to destroy any SeaWing princesses other than me, unless there is a witness around. I give this statue the power to sense when a dragon is coming, so it has time to go back to its pedestal. The statue will freeze in its exact position if it doesn't sense someone coming but the doors open anyway.

Satisfied, Orca swam out of the hatchery. She waved to the guards and swam up to meet her brother. They played until sundown, and that was that. Orca was ready to declare the challenge the next day.
