Just another day here in the cold prison la la la everything's FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!

I sighed. The guards had switched three times during each day: First it was Cloud and Sunset, guarding the whole prison, then Tornado and Hurricane, and then Aurora and Skyline. A few times I heard shouts echoing through the prison from the arena, and I saw the guards shift uncomfortably.
One night, when Aurora was guarding the left side of the prison and Skyline was guarding the right, I heard a noise. A noise so quiet it could have been the breeze. I peeked out of my cell, and there, at the tunnel from the prison to where the Sunroom was, Aurora was sitting in front of the opening with her wings spread wide . . . but behind her, without her armor, was Sunfire.
I watched as the SkyWing snuck up behind Aurora and knocked her out. Without a single burn mark. But how? Was what I wondered.
As Skyline saw Sunfire step over Aurora's unconscious body, she nearly shrieked before Sunfire was slinking away. A few minutes later, Skyline calmed down and spread her wings wide, sitting in front of the tunnel that lead from the prison to the arena.
I heard a slight noise again, and in a moment Skyline was knocked out. I heard her whisper 'Traitor' before Sunfire came over to our cells.
"How did you do that?" I asked as Sunfire unlocked each of our cages in turn.
"How did I do what?" She asked calmly.
"Knock out those guards without burning them. You're a firescales!"
"Smart dragonet." Sunfire chuckled. She held up a piece of her armor. "I held this, and it didn't burn, so I just knocked them over the head with it. They should forget about what happened now, if you guys escape and I go back to guarding Scarlet's throne." There was a tone of disgust in her voice as she said 'Guarding Scarlet's throne'.
    "Thank you," Sienna said.
"No problem." Sunfire said with a smile. "Who knows, maybe one day we'll be the best of friends?"
    "Maybe."
Then Sienna put me on her back and flew out of the prison, escaping into the night. Only a few prisoners on the spires awoke, and they didn't register what was going on until we were far away from the Palace.
I'm headed home, I thought with triumph. Back to the Kingdom of Sea, and back to my brother where I can bring him the cure. All I have to do is wait.
