The next morning, I was woken up by bright lights. Like, really bright lights.
Come on, wake up! My brother flashed, clearly annoyed. I rolled over and went closed my eyes again. Seriously, Humpback flashed when I looked back. You're as bad as Brine when he wakes up in the morning.
    Did I see my name?
Brine asked. He narrowed his eyes as he saw me sleeping. What's going on?
    Orca isn't waking up.
My brother responded. I think she might be dead.
    Good riddance,
Brine flashed.
It was now Brine's turn to be dead.
    Orca! Humpback flashed.
Whoops, sorry not sorry, hey let's go fix you up your cure.
    How did you do that?
Easy. I just swam up to him and cut his throat open. Anyways, can we please just go fix you?
    Fine . . .

When we reached the surface, Humpback paddled over to the place where we kept all the ingredients; the island where I discovered I had animus magic. I swam after him, emerging onto the beach and laying down, spreading my wings to catch the full part of the sunlight. The sun warmed my wings as I watched my brother carefully drain the water of the coral (yes, he cast another spell to make his previous one stop), and keep the eel in.
Then, he smashed the gemstone with a strong rock and picked up the thousands of pieces, putting them into the coral where the eel, desperately hungry, decided to eat them. Humpback was apparently well aware of this, and he didn't mind. It was 'part of the cure', he said.
He put in the scale from father's tail, and took a long branch. He gave it to me and instructed that I mix everything.
    So I did.
When I finished mixing, my brother dipped the anemone into the water, quickly taking it back out so the stuff wouldn't flow out.
"Here goes nothing," He said grimly. "Down it goes."
"YOU NEVER SAID YOU HAD TO DRINK IT!" I yelled as my brother swallowed the concoction. He grimaced as it went down his throat.
He picked up the same stick I used to mix it all, and wrote in the sand:
Tell mother and father that I've lost my voice for some unknown reason.

"What happened?" I asked.
So when this is drunk, since you swallow a scale and some gemstones, as well as an anemone and an electric eel, there are a few side affects. I got the best one. I could have been electrocuted, killed, suffocated, etc. Losing your voice because your vocal cords were scratched is honestly the best thing that can happen out of those.

"Does it get fixed after a while?"
    Yes.

"Good. But you can still use Aquatic, so you can obviously tell them yourself."
True. I can have normal conversations underwater.

"As normal as underwater conversations can be," I mumbled. Humpback nodded, diving back into the ocean.
This is certainly interesting, I thought. It's going to be so fun. Hey, I didn't ask him when he would get his voice back.
Brother? When are you getting your voice back?
    Uh . . . hard to say. I think . . . a week, maybe?
This is going to be fun,
I put my flashes on low light, indicating mumbling.
    It certainly is. He replied.

Okay, so I don't really have any ideas for the rest of Orca's first years of her life, and this happened ALL WHEN SHE WAS A BABY, so I think the next chapter is going to happen a few years later.
Also, HAPPY 18th CHAPTER! I seriously did not expect the story to be this long, nor did I expect any of this to happen when I first started this XD. I'm honestly just as surprised at what is going on as you are. Except for some things, like Sienna's betrayal to her so called 'siblings'.
But yeah, on that note, I haven't done this in a long time: See you all in the next chapter! Bye!!!
