I opened my eyes in a world of . . . water?
"Orca!" Yelled a voice. "Orca! It worked! Yes!" I looked around for the source of the noise.
"Where are you?" I asked. The voice was familiar and yet . . . I couldn't remember who it was.
"I'm here, Orca! I'm behind you." I turned around and gasped.
"Brother?" I asked. Humpback smiled.
"I'm here, Orca. I'm here."
"How did you - ?"
Humpback held up a sapphire that was shaped like a star."It's called a Dreamvisitor." He explained. "It was enchanted by an animus NightWing long ago. There are three of them; it is thought that he made them for each of his two friends, Fathom and Clearsight."
"That's awesome!"
"It is. I have one of the Dreamvisitors, so I can dream visit anyone I want as long as I've seen them. Where are you? Mother's been tearing up the place for you and a MudWing prisoner."
"Ha ha, funny story. So, I actually got kidnapped by the MudWing, so . . . yeah."
"Wait, really!? What happened?"
"She knows I'm an animus. Hey, are you actually here?"
"Kind of. You see, the background is what your mind came up with, but I am actually real. Then again, I'm not actually part of your dream. So I guess I'm not really here."
"Makes sense to me. Whoever this animus was, they were smart."
"Actually he kind of went insane after a while, but don't worry. He's . . . disappeared, to say the least. No one knows what happened to him, or his girlfriend Clearsight. But it's said that Clearsight and Fathom did something to him. I'm pretty sure Fathom went back to the Kingdom of Sea but lived with Indigo, who he loved but was forbidden to marry. But I personally think that Clearsight ran away."
"Ran away?"
"There's a legend of another continent. Some say she went there. Others say she died peacefully in another Kingdom. All we know is that she didn't stay in the Night Kingdom."
"Where is the Night Kingdom anyways?"
"No one knows. It's said that it's deserted though. That after this dragon they fled the kingdom. Can you imagine that? What if one of us goes crazy like Albatross and everyone leaves the Kingdom of the Sea in fear?"
"That can't happen!" I yelled. "That kingdom is the best kingdom ever."
"Where are you going right now, do you know? Where is the MudWing taking you?"
"Last I remember before I fell asleep, we were headed to land, to the part that isn't MudWing or RainWing territory."
"Okay, that's something to work with."
"Thank you, Humpback. I'm waking up now, so I think this is the end of our little talk."
"Bye, Orca. Oh, and really quickly, I -"
Before Humpback could tell me what he wanted to tell me, I woke up, blinking before getting adjusted to the light. The MudWing was flying toward a visible swamp now. How fun.
This is going to be a while. I thought.

Viễn tưởngI don't own Wings of Fire or the picture. This is just something I made up, it did not actually happen in the series. Princess Orca was always thought of as a villain after Wings of Fire: The Lost Heir. Before that, she was loved. But how loved was...
