Hailey's POV
I woke up to the smell of bacon. I rolled over and saw Jay still in bed. I frowned. We got out of bed and made our way into the kitchen. We both smiled at the sight of Olivia cooking breakfast. Luna was being her little helper, and Eden was sat at the table waiting for the food to be ready. Olivia started plating up breakfast and we all ate together.

"You didn't have to make breakfast." I said and Olivia smiled.

"I know, but I wanted to do it as a way of saying thank you for letting me stay here." She said and I smiled. I slid next to her and wrapped my arm around her. I kissed her head and she smiled.

"Are you at work today?" Luna asked.

"No, Hank gave us the day off." Jay replied.

"What shall we do?" She asked.

"I think we should have a relaxing day in. We can watch movies, play games, paint our nails." I suggested and they all agreed.

"First, we need to go grocery shopping though because we have no food in." Jay said and I nodded.

We all got dressed and headed shopping. Jay and Luna kept trying to sneak things into the trolley. Classic Halstead's. Eden was sat in the seat at the front of the trolley, giggling when Olivia made funny faces. We made our way through some of the aisles. Suddenly, an idea popped into my head.

"Jay, you take Eden and finish food shopping. I'm going to a different part of the store with Olivia and Luna." I said and they all looked confused. I grabbed a basket and took the older girls to the toiletry aisle.

"Okay, so I've got an idea. First, I need to know something. Liv, you got your period yet?" I asked.

"Umm yeah, only last month though." She said and I nodded.

"While Jay is with Eden, we are going to buy some stuff for you guys to take with you while you are at school. You never know Luna, you might get it there." I said and they both nodded.

"But I'm only 10." Luna said shocked.

"I got mine when I was 11." I said.

The girls both got a little bag to keep stuff in. Since Liv is older, she knew what stuff to get, so I helped Luna a little more. They got stuff that is essential for them and they put them in the basket. It was nice to spend some time with the older girls, especially Liv since we were bonding quite a bit. It's kind of bittersweet though. I mean, I wasn't there to help her when she got her first period. I wasn't there to take her to buy her first bra. We finished buying the stuff we needed and met back up with Jay and Eden.

"Hey, what did you get?" Jay asked when he saw Luna carrying the basket.

"Some period products and stuff." Luna said openly and I chuckled. Jay made a face.

"Hey, you're living with 4 girls, you've got to get used to it." I said.

"I know I know." He said and I smiled.

"Why do you get so weirded out by it?" I asked.

"I don't know really, it just creeps me out." He said and I chuckled.

"You're cute." I said and he smiled. We were finishing off doing the shopping when something hit me.

"Liv, what school do you go to?" I asked. I didn't actually know.

"I don't go to any. I got kicked out 3 days ago." She said which left both Jay and I shocked. Olivia is one of the sweetest people ever.

"Why?" I asked and she looked down.

"The school I went to was a very religious one. We were told that there was this school dance. I asked this girl I liked to go with me. She said no and called me a freak. The school found out that I asked her and they expelled me." She explained still looking at her feet and I was shocked. I hugged her.

"It's okay though, I hated that place anyway." She said and I chuckled.

"Wait, you asked another girl. I thought only guys and girls date." Luna said. I turned to her.

"Nope, boys can like boys and girls can like girls." I said and she nodded.

"So do you like girls then?" Luna asked Olivia.

"I like anybody. I don't put a label on things. Labels are for clothes, not people." She replied which warmed my heart. Jay and I smiled at each other. I wrapped my arm around Liv and kissed her head.

"You're amazing." I said and she smiled. We all headed home and put the groceries away. We cuddled up on the couch and decided to relax for a bit. That didn't last for long before Eden started having a meltdown. She burst into tears.

"Hey hey hey, what's wrong baby?" I asked as I held her in my arms.

"Milk." She said simply and I sighed. She has been going through a phase, well I'm hoping it's a phase, where she is wanting me to breastfeed her. I think it's because of all the new changes in our lives. I mean, this time last year, it was just me and her. I think when she breastfeeds, it takes her back to a time where it was just us and all the attention was on her.

"Why sweetheart? You're a big girl now." I said.

"Mama not wuv me." She said.

"Of course I love you, why would you think that I wouldn't?" I asked.

"Me want milk mama. Pweaseeee" She begged and I wanted to cry. I moved my shirt down and she latched onto my breast.

While Eden was nursing, the rest of us chose a movie. We decided on Toy Story.

Once Eden had finished nursing, she looked up at me.

"Me sowwy mama." She said.

"Why are you sorry?" I asked confused.

"For not being big girl." She said and I sighed.

"It's okay, but remember, you should be able to go without me nursing you." I said and she nodded.

"Cwuddles?" She asked and I smiled. I held her to my chest and wrapped my arms around her.

"I've got you baby." I said. I leaned into Jay's chest and he kissed my head. I looked over at Luna and Olivia and saw that they were engrossed in the movie, both buried under a mountain of blankets.

After a while, we all went and did our own thing. Luna and Olivia were in their rooms. Eden was sat on the floor playing with her toys. I went to go check on the older girls since I hadn't seen them in a while. Luna was in her room reading.

I went into Olivia's room and saw she was laid in bed crying. I quickly rushed over to her.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"I'm sorry." She said and I frowned.

"What for baby? You haven't done anything wrong." I said.

"I don't want to let you down." She said.

"You will never let me or Jay down, okay. We will always be so proud of you, no matter what." I said and she smiled. She hugged me.

"So, you want to tell me why you were crying?" I asked.

"I just got a bit overwhelmed." She said.

"With what?" I asked.

"This whole situation. Living here with you guys is a big change and I'm just a bit worried." She said and I nodded.

"It's okay to feel anxious. It is a big change to live here." I said and she nodded.

"Just know, you can always talk to Jay and I. We will be there for you 100%." I said and she smiled. I kissed her head.

"I love you mom." She said and I smiled.

"I love you too sweetheart."
