I never realized how much I missed having a female around until Tiana came along, she’s beautiful, smart, feisty, and strong... my type of girl. I wonder what she’s doing, I guess I’ll call her. “Hello?” she answered in her beautiful voice “Hey, what you up to?” “Homework, I’ll have to call you back.” “Alright, talk to you later” and then the line went dead.

Hmm… what to do now? I guess I’ll go by my mom’s house, since she say I never come around anymore. I grabbed my phone, shoes and keys and headed out the door. Once I got to my mom’s house, I parked and jogged up to the door and knocked. Seconds later she answered the door & pulled me into a hug and brought me into the house without breaking it. This is gonna be a long day.

Homework is done! Now I’m hungry, hope Taina didn’t eat everything. Chicken sounds good, but pizza rolls are quicker, so that’s what I'm eating. I grabbed the pizza rolls out the freezer, grabbed a plate, put some on it, and threw em in the microwave. Once they were done I took em out the microwave, grabbed a bag of chips, poured me some juice and then started watching Expendables 2. After the movie was done, Taina still hadn’t called so then I decided to see what Bobby was up to, since I promised him I would call or text when I had the time.

Turns out he is really sweet, well at least over phone… anyway we have a date this Friday, is that wrong??? Nah. I mean Issa & I are just friends who were set up by our friends, so I’m not dating two people at a time, and besides Bobby & I are friends as well so there’s no harm there either. Well it’s not really a date more like just us kicking it at the movie theater, I’m 19 not 9 that’s not a date in my book. Speaking of Issa, I was supposed to call him back once I got done with my homework.

My thoughts were quickly interrupted by Taina texting me telling me she was staying at Que’s for the night & that I should pick her up on my way to class in the morning. I told her ok & went to prepare for my shower, I’ll call Issa afterwards.

I have been at my mom’s house forever, it’s time for me to go, I’m tired and Tiana was supposed to go back to my house to get her stuff, wonder if she tried going back. I told my mom and siblings bye and left out the house. I pulled out the driveway and went back home. It was good seeing my family again though, I’ll go back another day.

Before I knew it, I was back at home. I’m tired, so I guess I’m going to bed. Just then my phone rung, it was Tiana, I smiled and answered the phone.

“Hello?” “Hey. I was just calling to return your call.” “It must have been a lot of homework” I said with a chuckle. “Nah. I was waiting on Taina to call, then I started watching a movie, then I texted somebody I promised I would a long time ago, but never got around to it, and I just hopped out the shower, and remembered I never did call you back, but I didn’t realize you were waiting around for my call.” She giggled and I smirked at the shower part. “It was nothing like that, I just got back in the house actually.” “Oh cool.” “Yeah, I decided to go visit my mom.” “Sounds like fun.” “Sounds embarrassing” I said remembering how my mom was when I went to visit her. “It couldn’t have been that bad.” “Trust me it was.” “If you say so” she giggled. “What are you doing this weekend?” “Friday after school, I’m going to the movies with somebody, and Saturday & Sunday I’m working” she said with a sigh, as if she didn’t wanna go. “What’s wrong?” “I really don’t like working on the weekends, this past weekend was the first I had off in 5 months.” “Don’t go.” “Just because I don’t go to work, doesn’t mean the bills are gonna stop rolling in.” “You can always move in with me.” wtf am I saying… I have to really like her. “I don’t think that’s a good idea, we just met.” More like we just got on good terms. “I understand, but my offer stands.” “Ok, well I’m going to bed, I got class in the morning, good night” she said yawning into the phone. “Ok, good night beautiful” and with that we hung up. Time to hit the shower & go to bed.
