Truth be told

It's the fifth day after my parents divorce and it's my last day with my Pa, my friends, my school and my home.

It has been hard for me to see my Ma ever since she decided that she is taking me away. I don't want to leave my Pa, my friends or my home. I want to stay with Pa but Ma is forcing me to go with her, saying Pa is unstable and won't be able to care for me properly.

As I walk through the doors of the school I'm not even the slightest bit happy. Quickly I walk to locker number 148 and put in my combination. When I'm done grabbing my books and close the door my friends Kira, Lola and Katy and standing in front of me.

"So like the coolest thing happened to us last night." Katy said anctiously. "You know Conrad, Joey and Ben? Well they all asked us to the dance next week!"

" Ya it was like so cool!" Lola bragged.

" I like almost fainted." Kira added.

"What!" I say almost to quickly. " I didn't know they liked you guys that way. That's cool."

" Your damn right it's cool." Katy snarled. " What is the matter with you? We came here and told you the least you can do is be happy for us."

" What? I told you that it was cool." I say confused.

" What Katy is saying is that we know it's cool, we were just looking for maybe a congrats or something." Lola said sadly.

" Look guys I'm happy for you, but I have a lot of my own stuff going on right now, and I don't have time to deal with you guys and your crap." I retort as I walk away.

I walk down the hall not knowing exactly where I'm going. Today is my last day in that school, with all the people I love and I don't know what I'm going to do next.
