Truth be told

"OH MY GOD! Angelica we are at the house. Isn't it pretty?" Ma screamed into ear.

I climb out of the cab not saying anything to Ma, and grab my bags. Ma pays the driver, grabs her bags and runs past me up to the door. She unlocked it and runs inside.

"ECHO." I here Ma yell inside.

When I get to the door and walk in, I see Ma dancing around. I drop my things and stand still by the doorway.

"Angelica grab your things and I can show you to your room!" Ma chirps excitedly.

" Okay." I mutter.

As me and Ma walk, well I walk Ma dances up the stairs to go to my room, I start to scan the house.

" Living room, kitchen, bathroom, tv, couch..." I whisper. " Um. Well up here there is three rooms, a bathroom, a tv...".

" Well here is your room!" Ma says throwing the door of the first room up the stairs open.

I walk inside and even though I am sad to be in England, a smile spreads across my face. There is a tv, a bed, a computer desk, a computer, a guitar stand with a guitar, a piano and a huge closet. I grab the guitar and strum a few cords then move to the closet. The closet has shelves all down the middle of it, and then on both sides of the shelves is space to hang my things.

" Do you like it?" Ma asked.

" Um." I think whether or not I'll tell the truth." It's okay."

" Well that's a start" Ma says grinning.
"Well my room is right there so if you need me that's where I'll be. You should probably go to sleep though, it's 8:45pm and you are starting school in two days."

" Goodnight Ma. Sleep well." I say yawning.

"You to Angelica. Hope you sleep good." Ma says back.

I close the door, slowly slipping off my shirt and shorts then slip on my neon pink and blue pajamas. When I get them on I slide under the covers of my bed and tuck in.

"This is my new home, I guess..." I sigh as I turn off the bed side lamp and close my eyes, slipping into the dark of sleep.
