Rain'Ella POV
we got off the plane and walked into the airport. We went through the search thingy, and went to baggage claim. I was so ready to go to the new house we bought, I didn't know what to do. We left the airport and got in a rental. Rachel drove and we ended up at the house in no time.
We got out and went inside. I hadn't seen it, but Rachel and Lyric said it was nice. I trust their opinion since we all basically have the same taste. It was actually nice.
The floors and walls were wooden. The living room had large windows. There was a fire place surrounded by brick. The kitchen was big and had wooden floors. The walls, however, were just regular white walls and not wooden like in the living room. It had three and a half bathrooms. It had four bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms had a bathroom and a walk in closet connected to them and they all had wooden walls. There was a big backyard with a nice patio. We got our money's worth.
"I'll take the room in the middle. I don't wanna be too close to the front door, but I don't wanna be the furthest away from it." I said
"Okay." Rachel said before taking out her phone to call our boss, Mr. Dunkin. She put him on speaker so we could all hear.
"Hello." he said casually.
"Hello this is Rachel. The girls and I have arrived in town and we are at our house now." she said.
"Okay. Y'all have a week to get settled, then I'll need you to come in so we can see you all in the clothing and have the photo shoots for the website and shoot the commercial." he said.
"Alright. What time do we come in?" she asked.
"Around ten. It shouldn't take long." he said.
"Okay, well thank you. I'll contact you when we're settled and get the directions." she said.
"Alright. Bye." he said.
"Bye." she said.
"Oh girl. We in the monehhh!" Lyric said happily.
"I know right." I said as I walked off to my room.
I unpacked while Lyric and Rachel stood and talked. This job we were going to start soon paid really well. About $3,500 every two weeks. That was enough for us to all pay mortgage here and still have money left over.
We already had our beds and dressers delivered to the house a couple days prior to us moving here, so we already had our rooms set up. We planned on saving up money to buy a big screen for every room in the house. Then we would have it made. I really didn't want much in my room anyway. Just a dresser, an entertainment center, a desk, and my bed. The desk could be small, cause all I'd put on it is my laptop and a really small file compartment I bought at the thrift shop.
I put my things away, but the time I was done, my room looked nice and neat. I walked out to see the girls in their room just starting. I shook my head and walked into the living room. It was completely empty. We still needed to buy a couch. I'm pretty sure my mom and dad had an extra couch we could have until we had enough money to get another.
Right now, the place was empty, the only full room was the kitchen. We took a pit stop before we came home, and we got hella groceries, plus, Lyric decorated the kitchen. She wants to design houses for a living, so we trusted her with that. If I decorate, everything will just be grouped together in different areas because I would just put things in organized piles.
I was glad to be home though, I hadn't been in this state in five years! I spent my first birthday in college. I was at a cafe of course, eating my ass off. I was lonely, but I had lot's of comfort food to take the place of any human being. Fawk you mean? I eats faithfully hunty!
