I absolutely adore you guys. And the first scene of this chapter.

*Beau's Point of View* Monday Morning

I sighed. I have to go back to the university today. Rachel texted me over the weekend. Since I'd been missing, Eft put in some other guy in theatre as Romeo.

I'm pretty damn relieved. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing more to worry about. Finally. I wiped the sleepiness out of my eyes and came to my senses. A pair of arms was wrapped around my torso, squirming at my slightest movement. I gently ran my fingers through her hair. She shivered. I loved when she was like this. So perfect.

So vulnerable.

I yawned. As I swung my legs out so they were hanging off the bed, her hands grasped at the air, whimpering. She was like a lost puppy without it's owner. Settling on the pillow my head had rested on, she wrapped her arms around it, hugging it tightly. I rubbed my ankles. They were feeling a lot better since Friday and it didn't hurt to put weight on them anymore. I walked into the bathroom, turning on the sink and splashing some water on my face, doing anything to wake myself up. I brushed my teeth quickly and walked back into the bedroom.

I saw a small girl, cuddled in bed. Her eyes still weren't open but it looked like they had been. There were tears streaming down her face. I rushed over.

"Sar, what's wrong?" I asked, opening up the blinds. When her eyelashes fluttered open, I couldn't help but smile. Her eyes sparkled as she squinted at the sun shining into them, letting it light dilate her pupils.

She wiped the tears from he eyes and kissed me on the cheek, breathing in deeply. "I thought you'd gone."

"Where?" I asked.

"I dunno." she mumbled, stretching out her arms. "I woke up and thought I was having a bad dream. You weren't next to me and...I just thought you'd left. So I closed my eyes and hoped it would all go away."

My fingers traced her cheekbones. "I would never leave you. Ever."

"You never get up without waking me too."

"S-sorry," I stuttered. "Don't get upset. You just looked so peaceful. I didn't want to disturb you."

She shook her head. "I don't know what I was thinking. You'd never do anything to me."

I rolled my eyes. "I almost got you arrested."

"For the sake of making love to me." she said, giggling and biting her lip.

I grinned. "Get up, lazy. We have school today. You've got to see that friend of yours, no?"

No one could wipe the smile off her face. "SHIVA!" she jumped, whipping the sheets off the bed and stumbling into an outfit for the day. She brushed out her hair and went towards the kitchen."I'm making eggs if you want some."

"Sure."

We ate and headed our separate ways. "Have fun at school." I said.

"You too. Bye babe." She briskly left the apartment, leaving me to force myself to interact with the people I haven't seen in a week.

When I got to class, I made my way to maths, where Tyla was lounging around. "Beau!" he said when I walked in. "What's up, mate? Haven't seen ya in a while."

I smiled. "Everything's crazy. But it's all figured out. It's really back to normal now."

He grinned. "Good. "Cause I've been taking notes for you all week, and I'm damn sick of it." He handed me a packet.
