*Sara's Point of View*

"Please don't hurt me." I whispered.

The man stood there with the bloody knife. I stared at him. And he stared at me.

Fuck my life, I'm such an idiot. So gullible.

"Oh my God. I hate you Beau." I muttered.

"YOU WERE SO SCARED!" he shouted, laughing. He took off the hoodie and put the knife down.

"What the fuck?!" I hissed, but couldn't keep the smile off my face.

"I was making burgers and I couldn't open the ketchup, so I was opening it with a knife and ketchup got all over it...so I decided to prank the most beautiful girl I've ever met." he said hugging me tightly.

I sighed. He was just so cute. "Nice save, babe."

"So...burgers?"

"Sounds good."

He smiled. "You were just so scared."

"Stop reminding me." I went into the kitchen area and grabbed the ketchup bottle.

He followed me in. "Look, if you're really that offended then-"

I squeezed the bottle in his face.

"OH FUCK WHAT THE-"

I burst into laughter. "You totally deserved that!"

He smiled, fingering the mustard bottle.

I glared at him. "I swear if you-"

"Nah, I'm just kidding." he said, laughing. We each had two burgers, I was starving.

I asked him about college. He said he made a few friends. Not too bad compared to high school.

"So how was your first day?"

I shrugged. "Alright, pretty boring. Luke and I have Mrs. S for maths...kill me now."

Beau shot me a look.

"You know I'm being sarcastic." I said to him. "Anyway, it was boring. Same people."

"So..." he asked cautiously, "how's Skip?"

I blinked a few times, trying to process what he was saying. Skip. I hadn't thought about him all day. He probably was expecting me to visit.

"I...I don't know." I whispered. Why did this hurt so much? Why do I care so much?

"Sara, I'm sure he's fine." Beau said, trying to calm me.

I didn't understand what was happening. My heart raced madly, and I could feel myself starting to sweat. "I've gotta see him..."

"Sar, he's fine." Beau said, a strain in his voice.

"He's not fine. He's not fine." I repeated, a little louder.

"Sara, what's wrong?" he asked, nearly shouting.

"DANIEL!" I screamed. I didn't understand. Tears streamed in rivers down my face. I grabbed my phone and called the hospital. Something felt incredibly wrong.

"Melbourne hospital. Can I help you?" the woman at reception asked.

"D-Daniel S-Sahyo-younie." I said throught sobs. "Is...he okay?"

"Hold on, let me check real quickly." she said.

Beau rubbed my back. "Sar, please tell me what's going on."

"I don't know." I replied stupidly. "I have no fucking clue. I'm scared, Beau."

"Why?"

"Something doesn't feel right."
