Shadow watched the rain on her window she saw how every new drop landed then made a path like a snake laving its tail growing out behind it down the glass she saw when two drpps colided and merged into one bigger one racing diwn the waindow pane to the bottem where the water pooled on her window ledge she wasent going to waist this day she never really got time to herself and as mutch as she loved her freinds sometimes all she wanted was to be alone this was the perfect day if she went outside Jolt wuldent bother her Risha wuld obvisly stay with Jolt Worthy serently wuldent come out he hatded water with evrything in him. Rollan wuld conpin if he went out so he and Meilin wuld obvissly stay put Abeke Shane Katilan and Conor where less predictable but with this downpore they probely wuldent come out or expct her to be out Song wuld defiently be out there but Shadow need not worry about her she culd stay clear of the girl.......she hoped she neededt worry about Haliwir eather the eegle culdent fly as well in the rain so wuld be most licky hiddined on the top floor somwhere Tasha and Dawson might be out but even if that was so they where both quiet people so they wuldent bother her

Walking outside Shadiw brethed in the sent if wet earth oh hiw she loved it (ok so ril its raining outside and i just went to my windosill opene the window and now im weigthing in the exact envirment Shadow is in) there was a loght brese strong enogh to bother Shadow but if she kent into it it felt perfectly normall blowing across her pale skin hundreds of birds sang in the trees each thereniwn unicke and diffrent song chittering and chirping sining to her she walked across the wer grass feeling it benethe her bare feet it felt like a new caroet all soft and welcoming as she walked she sang her fabrite song (Lucky ofc XDD) feeling the rain hit her skin like genttel stings hitting her bodey the sound of the water falling from the sky and hitting the soft earth was enchating soothing si claming the wind piked up and she wrapped her cloack tighter around her her hair blew across her face she stopped singing and shiverd she went ti shekter at the fiot of a large tree the ground was soking and the water soaked thrigh her cloaths she shiverd agen suddenly she was freezing the freedom she had once felt gone repced with feer what had been rain had turned into a storm she wanted to faint just close her eyes and give up the musicall crys of the birds sounded more like destress now she culd see the warm lights of the caslte feel the shelter it provided but only in her imagination she was too scared to get up and walck there to loose what little shelter she had pulling her cloack over her legs she sneezed she pressed her hed agenst the tree trunk

"Shadow!" She heard Meilin call she opned her mouth to respond but made no sound

"Shadow!" Tasha sounded scared "Shadow?"

"We will find her Tasha dont worry" Dawson was saying she culdent see them only hear their voices carryed on the wind

"Shadow!" Meilin called agen an idea struck Shadow if she culdent make sound with her voice mabey she culd with the objects around her shivering as she pulled her pale arms out from under the red fabric of her cloack she wished for a warmer top her current one was thin and had no sleves she piked up a stone in her left hand and a stick in her right she hit the stone but it was barly adbilue over the wind and rain she hit it agen still nothing she tried calling out but her voice refused to make a sound she struck the stone one last time and the stick snapped half of it flying off into the storm she dropped the stone and pulled her blaock back over her arms agen it was useless she closed her eyes waiting to fall asleep and mabey never wake up when she felt somthing warm on her sholders

"Shadow! Shadow!" It was Tasha shaking her "Meilin over here we found her!" Shadow opned her eyes to see Dawson infront of her

"Shadow?" He asked she trinednti smile at her brother in law but she culdent force her face to make the shapes Tasha was behind her still holding her sholders Meilin came up behind Dawson

"Dawson go find the other groups call the off tell them we found her" she instructed Dawson who nodded and ran off calling

"Katilan King we found her!"

"Now Shadow are you ok?" Meilin looked at her with the most concern Shadow had ever seen on the girls face Tasha squeexed her sholders Shadow tried to speek but still made no sound "Shadow?" She nodded "Shadow speek to me" she shook her head

"Lets get her inside" said Tasha Meilin nodded she put one of Shadows arms around her sholders and helped the redcloack girl stand Tasha took the other arm Shadow had no idea what had come over her she guessed exposher to the cold? The three of them walked back to the castle entering it Shadiw saw Risha and Jolt looking in all the cubbords and under loose floorbords

"Shadow!" Crised Risha rushing over and hugging the redloack Jolt came up behind her relfve painted right across his face the doors burst open and Dawson came running in followed by Katilan and King

"The others?" Asked Meilin

"Coming" he said "Hailowir is just soreding the news" Meilin nodded soon enogh Rollan Abeke Conor and Haliwir came throgh the door and behind them Worthy pushed past them all and ran straght to Shadow pushing her out ouf Mailin and Tasha's arms and pinning her agenst the wall

"You scared the life kut of me" he said she tried to simle but it still dident work insted she shuverd and burrried her fsce in Worthys chest he pulled her soking cloack off her and put his less sokaing one round her sholders "its ok" he said "ive got you now" everyone was staring at them Shadiw theogh she had bruses on her back from the fore of witch Worthy had pushed her he must have been really worried

"Shadow?" Asked Katilan "what happned?"

"And where in Song?" Added Shane "she dident-"

"Tellun she was praticng with The Dragons Eye!" Said Abeke "no wander that strom pike duo so fast"

"We best not interuot her" said Conor Rollan nodded

"Besides even Essix has had enogh flying around"

"Shadow why wont you say somting?" Said Tasha Shadow opend her mouth but agen made no sound

"Worthy?" Asked Dawson

"I- i dont think she can speek"
