This is a story about Shadow's life before she was s readlock

Ok so a loooooopoong time ago me and Painted where working in a book and we have her the real name Ella so yeah that's what I'll call her

Oh a s I have OTOTCRECT in sooo yeah-

Ella sat on the rodeside

"Hey" said a fermiler voice she looked up to see one of the few nice people in the town she DIDENT know why she liked him he was just as mean and annoying as every other person in Trunswick but she guessed she had to like him

"Hi" she moved up along the verb she was sitting on so he could sit with her

"I um was wandering if you had seen Mary around?" Ella lagged

"You sure you're not over her?"

"I am she is just my friend and I haven't seen her in awhile" Ella looked at him with a supsuisinbs gaze

"Mmhm"

Eddie was three months younger then Ella the boy had been abandoned by his birth parents and taken in by Ella's nabors he went to Ella's school the girl had been sent to a different school from the normall one to keep her away from Devin using her singing talent as an excuse

"You also haven't seen Beau in awhile"  Ella said Beau was an older boy around the same age as Ella's cousin Rachel who Ella had sent seen since she summoned a hedchog and ran to the Grencloackas Beau was a fighter the best one in the village he was training to join the army at 15 he only needed to wait one more year before he could go and join their ranks where he would be welcomed with open arms he was part of a groupe of them who had no school FTEINDS so had been forced together the other members of the groupe where Slaya the Niloian girl who had moved up age 3 she had been rejected by all the other children so Ella and her friends had agreed to take her in and look after her every day she loved them. Allan who was just an ordinary boy with perhaps a little too mutch dark humor. Mary who was the most popper girl in all of Trunswick but hated the atenchen so his with the outcasts. Beau's little brother Larry he was a year younger then Ella the others where all her age. And of course Eddie

"True but he is training remember" Ella rolled her eyes "what if somthing has happend to her?"

"Hey guys" Allan stood there with Mary

"See" eispred Ella "Mary is fine"

"Hey Allan hi Mary" Eddie smiled

"Where's Slaya and Larry?" Asked Ella

"Comming" said Allan

"Slaya needed to get somthing so Larry agreed to go with her" confirmed Mary before long the youngest two of the groupe came walking round the corner

"Ella!" Squeeld Slaya running over and hugging the older girl Ella smiled the groupe began walking

"Where shall we go?" Asked Mary who was carrying Slaya on her back as she walked

"Somewhere pecefull" said Ella

"Agreed" said Mary Ella knew how mutch she wanted to escape the grounds of people everyone knew her everyone wanted to be with her Ella felt special releasing Mary could hide with anyone but she hid with her they where a miss matched group all with different interests but what did it matter they where FTEINDS to get to the only quiet spot in town they would have to pass through the market with was bysseling with people Mary lowers her head in hope not to be reconsidered but once someone got a glimpse of her face the crys went up

"It's Mary!" Cried one girl the mourners went through the crowd then an athirative voice called out

"What where!? And dose she have her FTEINDS with her" Ella knew that voice

"Oh no" Larry slowly backed away from the groupe as Devin Trunswick approached them

"Devin" spay Ella

"Ella" he said with a less then charming smile Slaya tugged at her hand

"It's ok I won't kat him hurt you" Ella whispers to the little girl

"You make a good parent" said Devin "wuldent it be nice for you children to be respected?" This ernd him a sharp kick in the stomach "owww" he whined backing up a lite but not far enough that he wasn't a thret

Devin had always has a crush on Ella. Ella had always hated Devin. And she always would. She hopes that as time went on he would give up but he haddent she hates that everything she did every time she hurt him he loved her more for it she was lucky thogh it meant her family where treated well in order to get her to like Devin but she saw how the others where treated and she knew that Devin was a fake

"What do you want her for!?" Asked Mary "why can't you take me instead!?"

"Every other boy in Trunswick loves you I only love her" then without warning he grabbed Allan and put a knife to his througt

"No!" Cried Ella Eddie and Mary took Slaya and slowly backed away as Ella ran at Devin liking him in the face forcing him to drop the knife and hand over Allan she pushed him towards their FTEINDS but Devin grabbed her by the wrist

"Let go of me!!" She howled her friends watched helplessly as all of Mary's worshippers closed in on them and Ella was dragged away Devin's grip was strong and she culdent brake free

"She said let go of her" she looked up to see a tall boy a tall boy who she knew Beau was a formidable sight jumping at Devin and liking him to the floor then pulling out a sword and hiding it at the lord's THROGHUT

"Thanks" Ella smiled she noticed Larry in the shadows watching her heust have run to get his brother when the fighting broke outBrau was about to knock Devin out when Ella stopped him "leve him the others need you to cut them a path" he nodded

"I'll take care of them you go straight home" Ella nodded then took of running

It was dinner time when they heard the knock at the door Ella had beconed her younger sister over as their father opened the door Ella's sister Ellen was like her twin the girl was three years younger but she liked all the same things Ella did she cared about her younger sister grately so when she saw the erl at the door with a sour expiration on his face she feels somthing was to happen to her beloved sibling

"Ah my lord what do you want?" Asked her father he was able to keep his vice steady but Ella knew he feered the girls mother came over putting her hands on her fighters shaders the three looked alot alike blonde hair blue eyes except their mothers.hair was curly we the girls was straight likethier father's

"I would like your oldest daughter to admit she likes my first born son"

"But she doesn't" he said definitely

"Are you sure about that" the erl stepped aside and a crossbow man stood behind him crossbow loded and aimed straight at Ellen's heart

"Fine I do" cried Ella

"Ella" her mother warned

"I'll suffer if it means my sister gets to live" she said

"You don't have to do this"

"Do you see any other way" her mother thoght for a minute then shook her head Ella stepped forwards

"You will come for dinner tonight" said the erl
