Reminder: This takes place in the real world, so they have devices and coffee shops and whatnot. That also means that everyone is modern and stuff. Also, in this, they are about 23-25, as they just finished college and are coming for a get-together!

Only difference is, instead of calling the world "Earth", they called it "Erdas".

Enjoy!

Raisha drummed her fingers absentmindedly on the café table, sparing a quick glance out the window to see if the other had arrived. The sleek walls of the windowed shop were silver and a rustic wood design, modern and elaborate at the same time. Several workers were busing themselves serving coffee, but it was overall very quiet. She was waiting for specific people to arrive here, those specific people being her closet friends.

When she had gone to high school, she had met a group of people who had shared her same interests into books, friends, and interests in general. They had all loved this book series called Life of a Wattpadder, and had all chosen characters from the books to mark as their favorites. But after senior year, they had all gone seperate ways to pursue their dreams, and after they had all graduates, they had decided to meet up here, where Shadow had a 'suprise' for them all. Suddenly, Raisha looked up as she heard the small bell chime as someone walked in the door, the someone being Shadow and Meilin.

Shadow was wearing a loose long-sleeved black shirt and a pair of black jeans rolled up just underneath the knees. Her long black hair was down to her back and her blue eyes were as sharp as ever. She was wearing a pair of comfortable looking dark brown sandals, and a gold necklace with a cat pendant hung from her heck. A single silver ring glistened from her finger, reflecting in the sunlight, and showing that Shadow was taken.

Meilin, on the other hand, was dressed in a fitting pale blue dress with navy blue highlights, which reached down to her knees. Her hair was pinned back in a tightly drawn bun, her brown eyes soft yet alert. A pair of thick-heeled pale pink high heels were placed on her feet, going her an extra two inches of height. A smooth silver ring shone from one of her fingers, along with a shiny bracelet from her left arm. Her nails were long and manicured, unlike Shadow's, who's nails were filed and painted, and a pair of earrings were visible in Meilin's ears.

Raisha herself was wearing a jade green shirt with silver highlights, with a pair of black leggings covering her legs down to her ankles. She had part of her hair back in a brisk, similar to the hairstyle she had chosen for Shadow's wedding, with a silver snake earrings in her ears. Her was wearing heeled black boots, and several silver bracelets shine from her wrists.

"Oh my goodness, I haven't seen you all in such a long time!" Raisha smiled, getting up and giving Shadow and Meilin sisterly hugs. "When do you think Tasha, Xanthe, and Abeke will get here? And is Song even coming?"

"I haven't seen you in so long either!" Shadow said, her English accent evident. "Abeke said she was running late, but Tasha and Xanthe should be here any minute now! And yes, Song said she'd be here, with Katalin too, but I don't know when.

"I can't believe how long it's been!" Meilin said, nearly bouncing on her toes. "How have you guys been?"

"I've been well," Shadow said. "You know how Worthy and I have been, you guys came to our wedding. We renew our vows every two weeks., because every time he's adorable I feel like asking him to marry me again, so we just renew our vows the next day!" She finished with a laugh. "What about you and Rollan?"

"Oh, we've been dating for a while now." Meilin said with a shy grin, adding more when Shadow gave her an unsatisfied grin. "And on my birthday, he gave me a promise ring. We're planning on getting married, but we're going to wait a little bit, unlike you lovebirds." Meilin gave Shadow a look at the last part.
