The monster standing before them was one that Lucy had never quite seen before, but at the same time, she definitely had. For starters, she looked exactly like MK before his transformation, the only differences being that her sweater wasn't striped, but rather checkered. She was grayscale as well, which was also strange, but more memories swimming in MK's head revealed that she wasn't always like that. Once again, it was strange. So many happy memories, yet they faded away so quickly before Lucy could fully digest them. But they were happy ones; that much she knew, and that same happiness was currently embodied by the excited monster she shared a consciousness with.

"I found you!" The boy was practically bouncing on his heels with excitement before trying to dart towards her, only to then watch as she stared before taking a few sudden steps away.

"Ah-! I'm scaring you aren't I?" That was enough to get MK to forcefully calm down, even if he was still bouncing up and down ever so slightly. "Sorry about that! I'm just happy to see you! Especially after..."

"The attacking human." The greyscale monster barely hesitated in finishing his sentence, eyes unblinking as she gazed at her twin. "I'm aware."

"You were?" asked MK, his eyes growing wide. "Yo! You must've hid really well then!"

"...Yes." Another monotone response from the monster, one that caused Lucy to frown a tad. Should she really be this monotone?

Nonetheless, the new monster did emote a tad as she raised her eyebrows, now fully digesting MK's strange new form. "...You look different."

"Oh! Oh yeah! I do! Look at these!" MK then waved his hands around a bit, the monster giving her a wide grin before breaking into an explanation. "I got these after I absorbed Lucy's soul! Lucy's a human! A nice one! And she wanted to see you!"

'No, you did,' Lucy sighed, though she didn't reprimand him too harshly. 'But I don't mind. So this is your sister?'

"Yep! Lucy, meet Suzy Kim! My twin!" The excited monster then gestured to Suzy, the checkered twin merely staring in confusion.

"...Are you... talking to the human?" He had to be. It only made sense. But that didn't make it any less weird.

"Yep! She talks to me in my mind," MK replied. "She can talk out loud sometimes too, if I let her, but I'm in charge for now."

"...I see." It was strange. All of this was strange, but Suzy could understand. This was her brother after all; she trusted him, and if he trusted this strange human in his head, then she could trust her too... maybe. "...How did that happen? The absorption of a human soul?"

"Me? Oh! It was kind of an accident." MK then laughed nervously as he shuffled his feet, his gaze diverting from the twin for a moment. "I tried to get the souls to the king but uh... I didn't know grabbing the soul would make me absorb it. Alphys has been trying to figure out how to undo it actually."

"I see." Suzy merely stood and stared once again, her gaze thoughtful as she once again looked her brother over. "...Are the other human souls okay? The other five?"

"Yep! Back at Alphys' actually! She's been keeping them safe and stuff since we technically have all seven now. We just gotta figure out how to separate me and Lucy again." It was a question that MK had brushed off, but his human partner, however, didn't. "...Lucy's wondering why you're asking?"

"Oh..." Suzy merely shuffled her feet a tad, her gaze downcast as she tried to figure out what to say. "...To make sure they're safe, and... I have an idea."
