Despite MK's insistence on not being tired, it was very clear to both Flowey and Alphys that the young monster was still exhausted. Sure, he was carrying that canister without much of an issue, but his feet and even tail were dragging a bit, something that Flowey had instantly noticed was weird. After all, the young monster was known for zooming around the Underground so fast that he'd trip and fall every five minutes! This was out of character for him, but neither were going to complain. At least him being tired would allow him to sit still.

"O-Okay, you could s-set the canister down there-" Alphys then pointed to a spot near a work table before heading towards what looked to be some sort of medical monitor, all while MK set the red soul down where she'd asked.

        "Got it! What's next?"

"Ah- Um-" The monster then fiddled a tad with her clawed fingers, only to then start meddling with the medical monitor nearby. "C-Could you get on the table, please-? I-I'll set up the test- See if everything is fine!"

Nodding this time around, the young monster did as told and climbed onto the medical bed, only to then lay down right afterwards, but only after setting Flowey right beside him. He couldn't forget about him after all. "Soooo... Do you guys know each other-?"

"Uh- What-?" Alphys paused what she was doing and turned back towards the young monster fusion, the child laying down on the bed as his tail twitched a bit.

"Flowey said he knew this place," MK explained, the monster looking towards the very irritated flower. "Pretty sure you did. Lucy says you did."

"That doesn't mean I know her, idiot!" Flowey snapped, the creature angrily waving a leaf at the now very curious scientist. "Hey! Don't get any ideas!"

"I-Ideas?!" Alphys couldn't help but furrow her eyebrows at the flower. "To do what?!"

"I don't know! You're a scientist!" The flower then threw his leaves into the air, falling back against the bed with an exasperated sigh.

"Miss Alphys said she's just gonna give us a check-up though," MK reminded, his gaze now on the lizard monster as she wheeled a monitor over to his bedside. "Does Flowey also get a check-up?"

"Uh- Er..." While Alphys did want to say yes, she was also very aware of how prickly the flower seemed to be... "...Would he like one-?"

"No!" That answered her question. Darn.

"T-Then I may need to s-set you aside. W-when I start taking x-rays I mean-" Taking a moment to fiddle with some wires, she then began placing them on the young monster, watching pieces of the monitor begin to hum to life. "...E-Everything looks normal, a-which is good!"

"What?!" Flowey couldn't help but squint at that, and already, the flower had pulled himself into a sitting position in order to better view the screen for himself. "What about this kid is normal?!"

"I-I meant healthy-!" The monster couldn't help but shrink back a bit, not quite fond of Flowey's scrutinizing behavior. "He seems healthy! A-And extremely powerful... Stats are high... Magic output is high... Y-You're stronger than much of the Royal guard-!"

That was something that quickly got MK's attention. "Ooh! How high? How powerful am I?!" The young monster couldn't help but swing his feet in excitement. Even while tired, it seems he still had enough energy to just keep going.

"W-Well... your HP is one-thousand five hundred... And- And your magic output is in the range of boss monsters-!" It was stunning how powerful just one human soul had made him, and even more surprising still the fact that this young boy wasn't going absolutely berserk with his kind of power. "...W-What is your full name, MK-? I need to l-look through the database for stuff-"

"Martie Kim!" the monster said proudly, only to then take a moment to pause. "Do you need Lucy's full name too?"

"Uh..." A good question, one that she almost said no to, but then... "Sure-! One moment-!" Rushing to a set of screens, Alphys began to rapidly type, a file then popping up on one of the monitors that revealed MK and his stats; well... old stats. "D-Did those new arms come after you a-absorbed the soul-?"

        "Yep!"

        "And the tail-?"

        "Uh-Huh!"

"O-Okay-" More typing, though now another file had been brought up, or rather a series of files had been. Six files, and while the mouse was hovering over one, Alphys seemed just a tad hesitant on clicking it. "...What soul did you a-absorb again-?"

        "The yellow one!"

"Got it-" One click later, and the file she'd been hovering over was clicked, the picture of a yellow soul popping up along with a set of stats and... a file description. "...A soul of Justice... What's her name?"

        "Lucy Haley Jefferson."

More typing at the keyboard as she updated that piece of information, the monster then scrolling through a few things before opening a new entry on MK's file, one that be assumed would be documenting all of his new stats and abilities as a fusion. "O-Okay. I'm going to t-take an X-ray, meaning I must move Flowey-"

"Why do you have to- Wait. Oh." Facepalming, the flower then shook his head. "Idiot."

"Y-You're not an idiot! Here- L-Let me just-" Carefully, Alphys picked up Flowey and gently set him on a bed nearby, the monster then getting back to work by wheeling yet another machine over. Taking off the wires from the other monitor, instructions were then relayed to MK to hold still as the scan began. And, as expected, the results were... "Incredible..."

"Hm?" MK glances towards Alphys for a moment, the boy not knowing if it was okay to move yet or not, but he assumed it was fine once she wheeled to looking machine away.

"Your monster magic is perfectly entwined with Lucy's justice magic! E-Everything about your magical make-up is shared between you-!" It was clear just how excited Alphys was, and that in turn made MK excited, even if he didn't fully understand her rambling. "There are many other tests I can perform- How much of which magic is used in attacks- Potential magic shifts when the human fronts- This is such an opportunity-!"

        "Hooray!"

"Hooray-!" Alphys then suddenly covered her mouth as she realized just how much she'd rambled off to her audience, the sheepish monster ducking her head before going back to looking at her computers. "...S-Sorry about that- Point is-! Y-you're healthy, but I-I think you should stay here... O-or at least visit often. You're a r-really powerful monster, MK... A-and it's been so long since we've seen a fusion... I-I want to monitor you- T-to make sure you're safe! Especially after..."

The room grew solemn as Alphys trailed off, everyone knowing exactly what she was talking about. The massacre... so much dust... He was lucky he and Lucy had been able to take down that human... Otherwise, everyone else in the Underground would have potentially been doomed.

"...Yo, Miss Alphys... Do you know about any survivors?" MK remembered one of the things Flowey had told him, about how some of the survivors had taken refuge in the Hotland labs. He hoped that was true. After all, it'd be nice to see some friendly faces again...

"Survivors-?" Alphys seemed puzzled for a moment, the monster trying to think before suddenly perking up. "O-Oh! The survivors! S-Some are hiding in the lab, yes-! I-I told them to hang back while I i-investigates your screaming-" The monster once again looked sheepish upon admitting that, but then her expression transformed into that of a horrified look. "Oh gosh-! I-I forgot to check on them-!"

"Seriously?" Flowey couldn't help to roll his eyes at Alphys' panic, the flower watching as she began to quickly put away her equipment.

"MK! Flowey! C-come with me please-" That was what she'd said before taking another look at MK. Ah. She'd nearly forgotten that the boy was tired. "...A-Actually- Stay here! R-Rest and all that- I-I'll come back with the survivors!"

And then, the lizard monster rushed down the hall, leaving the bored flower behind with his sleepy companion.
