Ahch-To: home to the new Jedi order, a collection of isles and islands that housed the now young adults whom first escaped the purge, along with many young force sensitive children rescued from across the galaxy. Safely kept away from the empire the colonies of young Jedi led under the careful guidance of Ahsoka Tano and Cal Kestis along with their various allies.

The islands were always a quiet place to relax in the early mornings, a perfect place to meditate. Later in the day the younglings would surely run around happily, but not yet, for now it was silent. Just what Ahsoka needed after yet another stressful night.

The torgruta sat outside one of the small huts staring across towards the cliffs edge ahead. She was watching the girl sat meditating at the edge carefully. The same girl she'd comforted all night before. Ahsoka didn't particularly have any expression across her face accept for a little worry and sorrow hidden back in her eyes. The years hadn't been kind to her: she'd suffered through so much since the purge, too much, the battles leaving scars but not always ones a person could see. Still, she'd found her hope in those dreadful years.

"Ahsoka: there's a message on the secure frequency, it's from Tattooine," Cal walked out from one of the nearest buildings saying, wrapping his poncho a little tighter round his body for a moment as a cool breeze swept by. Ahsoka nodded slowly but never removed her gaze from the girl at the edge of the cliff. The young man followed her gaze as he proceeded over and gave a heavy sigh as he to looked to the back of the girls head.

"...is she doing any better?" Cal asked somewhat hesitantly in a quieter tone as he looked back to Ahsoka. It was Ahsoka's turn now to sigh as she pushed herself up from her seat.

"She has her good and bag days...but we have to keep faith she'll get better again, baby steps, that's what it's going to take," Ahsoka replied finally looking to him and offering a small smile of reassurance, though she couldn't be certain her words were true. It was true Ahsoka had hope, she had a lot of hope, but hope wouldn't be enough on it's own to help. Still, she wanted Cal to keep his faith that things would get better. Ahsoka then took a another glance to the girl, watching her closely as she stood up.

"So this message from Kenobi: have you looked at it?" She went on to ask while stepping forward as she continued to watch the girl at the cliffs edge. Ahsoka was afraid the girl would do something rash in her depressed state, she couldn't bare to see her hurt again.

"He's requesting for the Mantis to pick up the duchess and his daughter: then bring them here for sanctuary, apparently he believes the empire may be coming their way." Cal responded while following her by taking a half step after her. Ahsoka nodded in understanding and chewed at her lips while watching the cliffs.

"Then you best get moving: we owe Obi wan that much, and he's right, they'll be safe here, and far from the empire's reach." Ahsoka replied while quietly walking a little closer to that far edge, holding her hands before her as she took slow steady steps. Cal followed a half step behind her, his eyes ahead squinting towards the sun as it rose up over the horizon.

"Understood: I'll send word ahead and leave right away for Mos Espa...will you..?" He spoke up in response, delicately avoiding bluntly approaching the subject he was asking of. Instead he gave a nod towards the girl at the cliffs edge, meeting Ahsoka's eyes with a awkward sense of worry. Ahsoka nodded and again gave a sight as she glanced down and ran her fingers over the small charm that had hung round her neck for years now.

"Yes I'll talk to her: I'm sure she'll want to stay away so don't mention anything to the others: I'll take her to the old landing sight for now, there should be no reason for anyone to visit there." Ahsoka replied moving her gaze from to handcrafted charm to the back of the girls head. A gentle wind blew by causing her cloak to flutter in its grasp as it simultaneously ruffled the girls robes and ran through Cal's hair. Nature connected them all much like the force did, but much like the force it wasn't enough to quell their uncertainties.
