LOTHAL

"You must be Felix Amidala's big sis huh?" The smuggler adorned in stormtrooper armour asked as she entered the shack. Ari Skywalker pushed herself up from the desk and pulled down her hood. The sixteen year old locked eyes with the former trooper, eyes with the ferocity of mother and father combined.

"And you must be the defective trooper." Ari replied, a cockiness to her tone, her and had brother had been running messages for the rebellion for six months now. That was how she'd learnt a name. A name of someone still friendly to her parents. Her real, parents.

"Not defective kid, I defected," She emphasised. Holding her stolen helmet under her arm, she cocked her head to one side.
"I was an elite y'know, fought by the inquisitors an' all." She added, a bit of a smirk tugging up the corner of her lips.

"But then, you met someone from the new order right? Ashoka Tano?" Ari asked, hope blooming in her blue eyes. She was a child searching for stories of the old days. Stories of her parents and those they worked alongside.

"Yup, met 'em as a stormy under the second sister, ask 'em about the citadel and fortress inquirer-whatos if you ever get the chance, I was there." She replied, slumping down with a clatter of aurmour into a nearby chair. Ari's eyes shone brighter with curiosity.

"So, you know how to contact Ahsoka Tano? I want to meet her." She asked, very strong and decide about her words. Ever since learning Ahsoka was an old family friend, Ari had wanted to meet her again. She didn't realise they'd already met years ago.

"That right princess?" The young woman with a confusing background replied with a grin. She set her chin in her palm. Now she was in the light Ari could see this stranger wasn't so old herself. Yet she acted with the confidence as though she ruled the entire galaxy.
"Tano's been watchin' over you princess, but she ain't coming out any time soon, gal's got a lot on her plate." She replied and Ari's shoulders fell. All this work, and still she was no closer to answers. The woman, Ky, got up and gently took the young skywalkers chin. She tilted it up until their eyes met.
"Hey, don't do that, though she's not here Ahsoka did send me a message, here." Like that Ky thrust a scroll into Ari's hand. The girl eagerly pulled the ribbon and unwound it.

Dear Ari Skywalker

This is a very strange letter for me to write. I know you've been researching Anakin and (y/n), your real parents. Kyra tells me my name came up a few times, I'm not surprised.
Yes, I was good friends with your parents. I also know that for now they're still alive. I do feel for you I really do, but trust in the force and some day you will find your way to them. You need to believe in yourself and train as quietly as possible.
The reason I asked for you to come to Lothal is because there's a young force user who could use some help with his training. You will have heard of his crew, the ghost. His mentor Kanan reached out asking for help, unfortunately I cannot leave the order right now, so I told him you would help with the boys training.
You're very strong with the force Ari, trust in it.
One day we shall meet I promise you, until then good luck and trust in the force.

- Ahsoka Tano .

Ari frowned. All this searching, all this planning and it all resulted in nothing. Ari sighed and slipped the letter into her pocket.

"Is that it? I came all this way, for nothing..?" Ari asked the slightly older teen before her. Ky smirked and shook her head as she jumped down from the side.

"Not quite," Ky replied and pulled Ari to the window. Down below a number of the rebels she'd been here to help were gathered sharing out food and joking with one another.
"Remember the kid that helped you free those ships for the princess? Yeah, Tano wants you to give him some training, you think you can handle that princess?" Ky asked and Ari grinned.
