You made your way back towards your office to document the recent events, more specifically, Lalnable's sedation. You also couldn't help but think seeing Lalnable sedated was rather...amusing? You couldn't entirely place your feeling. However, your thought was cut short as soon as you crossed into your office, for you were greeted with the sight from earlier; papers astray and the like.

"Might as well clean up while I'm in here," you sighed to yourself as you began to pick up more and more papers to stuff into a drawer of a cabinet.

It was taxing labor, but you had situated the office to your preference, which was clean and well organized in comparison to the previous owner. You have a small smile, proud of yourself, as you sat yourself down in front of your computer.

Glancing at the computer monitor, you spotted Lalnable curled up on his bed, and if you were extremely quiet, you could hear his snoring through the sound of the camera swiveling back and forth. Satisfied, you decided to look over the feeding schedule that resided on a sticky note placed on the top right corner of your computer. In a few hours, Lalnable would need to be served some mushroom stew. Not difficult in the slightest, you thought with a relaxed, content sigh.

You were snapped out of your thoughts upon hearing your office door open. Appearing around your computer was no other than Gosencrantz, who possessed a sheet of paper within his hands. "Nothing big," he spoke in a calm voice with a smile, "just some medication Xephos would like you to give to Lalnable during feedings."

"Oh." You took the paper from his hands. "Most of these look like sedatives."

"That's because they are. Xephos decided that having Rildenstern deliver sedatives was no longer required. After all, by having you feed and deliver medication to Lalnable, he thought he could have Rildenstern work another job."

"To get more work done," you concluded.

"Exactly," Gosencrantz spoke. "Do you need any assistance with anything?"

"I think I'm good. I do appreciate it, though, Gosencrantz."

"No problem." Gosencrantz turned and departed, leaving you to scan over the medicine chart.

One of the medications needed to be given at 10:00 a.m. You eyed the clock, and sure enough, it was 9:59 a.m. You blinked and rose to your feet, wiping at your eyes for a moment. When you saw the clock, you realized that you haven't slept at all.

Give him the medication, then you can take a nap, you thought to yourself. You went over to a glass cabinet that held all of Lalnable's medication, and grabbed the one he needed. It appeared to be a pill of some sort. You couldn't exactly tell the name of it, since the box that it came in was stripped of it's name to instead be replaced with 'Lalnable's 10:00 a.m medication'. You didn't question it, but you did (not allowed of course. :D). With that, you made headway for his cage.

You passed through the doors and was greeted with the sight of Lalnable sitting up on his bed, rubbing at his eyes. He glanced upward and caught your eye. You felt a small flicker of unease when the crimson optics narrowed suspiciously, yet Lalnable remained silent.

"I have some medication for you," You spoke as you approached the new teleporter. Upon looking at it, you felt rather confident towards Hector now, given now you don't have to stick your hand through a hatch to give him items. "Do you need water with it?"

His face was blank of expression. "Your giving the medication now?"

"Yes. Gosencrantz handed me the medication schedule earlier."

"So, Rildenstern won't be seeing me anymore, then?" His head tilted ever so slightly to express his confusion, yet you couldn't help but feel as if the motion was lifeless. It only looked as if the action was mocking concern in general, and that alone made you feel uneasy.

You gave a nod in response, since you didn't necessarily know how to respond to his question. You had no idea what Rildenstern may be up to from now on, so you knew you couldn't satisfy the man's curiousity.  You placed the pill in the teleporter before tapping a few buttons. You watched as the pill appeared in the cage, and soon, Lalnable picked up the pill with his fingers and rotated it, scanning it.

"Do you need water with the pill?"

"I have a leftover glass of water from yesterday," Lalnable returned.

You waited patiently as he placed the pill on his tongue and brought the glass of water up to his mouth. He took a quick sip of water and swallowed before placing the glass back on a table. He then turned to you, his eyes still concealing any emotion.

"Do you need anything else?" You asked politely. "I can fetch you something if you like."

He was quiet for a moment longer, and for a second, you pondered if he was getting sick. "Are you okay?"

"Yes." His voice was monotone. "I'm fine." His eyes were suddenly focused on the walkway. You looked over and spotted a familiar figure gazing down at the two of you.

Xephos.

You gave a small wave, to which Xephos returned it with a nod. You watched as Xephos continued down the walkway to disappear behind a wall.

"Hmm," Lalnable hummed.

"Something wrong?" You asked.

"No. Just tired," he grunted as he made his way back towards his bed.

You gazed at him with a perplexed look. He just woke up, you thought to yourself. You gave a mental shrug and made headway back towards your office, pondering of what to do next.

When you rounded the corner your eyes were fixated on a familiar duo.

Xephos and Rildenstern.
