Chapter Eight: What are you up too

Blake's POV

I head into the choir room and I just see chaos about to happen, Kurt freaking out, Mercedes looking stressed and Tina not in her usually goth outfits. Well this day is going to be interesting

"Hey guys what's going on, sorry I'm late Mr.Shue I had therapy" I say as I take my bag off my shoulder, Mr.Shue nods as everyone looks at me worried and defeated

"Vocal adrenaline is doing Lady Gaga, we're doomed" Kurt says as he shifts in his seat and thinking nervously, I'm taken aback by this because when I was there,we really always  did theatrical performances but lady Gaga is one I recommend months ago but I was denied

"Wow Ms.Corcoran actually did it" I say as I shake my head at this, everyone looks at me confused till Rachel speaks

"What do you mean she did it, did you put her up to this because as much as I like you Blake I will exact revenge on you" Rachel says as she comes towards me, I smile and try to ignore the swell in my chest when she said she liked me

"Calm down Rachel, I asked her to do Gaga months ago but she denied me, I'm surprised she's doing it now" I say as I sit down as everyone goes into a anxiety fit

"Wait a second guys, we may be able to handle two things at once here, find Tian a new look and find a competitive number for regionals.......for this weeks assignment, we're doing Gaga" Mr.Shue says proudly as we all cheer and some of the boys groan, I smile and head straight to the piano with my bag and pull out a sheet from the Gaga book I had bought before Ms.Corcoran shot me down

I start playing the piano and playing one of Lady Gaga's songs till I hear someone call me

"Um Blake can I talk to you for a minute" Mr.Shue says, I nod and follow him to his office, I sit down in the chair as he closes the door and sits down

"See I know this may be crossing a boundary but you said earlier that you were in therapy" Me.Shue says concerned, I nod and he continues talking

"Well if you don't mind me asking, what for" he finishes, I smile and sit up in the chair

"Its ok Mr.Shue, I'm in therapy to deal with anger issues and bullying from my past, I'm ok tho and I don't take meds" I explain, he nods and smiles at me

"Well Blake, that's brave of you to know that you have stuff to take care of regarding yourself and doing something about it, and hey I see how everyone out there gravitates toward you, you command the room and maybe you could lead this team" Mr Shue says proudly causing me to smile

I shake his hand and say thank you before heading back out as the bell rang and we all left

I get an emergency call from Rachel causing me to leave immediately, I knock on the door to see two men standing there confused

"Hi I'm Blake, Rachel called me over and said it was an emergency" I say worriedly as I play with my fingers, they nod and let me in and show me to her room, I walk in to see her crying on her bed and holding a pillow

I walk over and sit next to her, she soon grabs my hand and holds in tight as we sit in silence for a good while before she finally spoke

"I met my mother today..... as you could see when you came in I have two fathers so this was a big deal to me.....Jesse pushed me to listen to a tape she left me and when I went to Carmel today to watch Vocka adrenaline, she put Barbra on and when I heard her sing.....I knew" Rachel says sitting up and looking at me

I instantly knew who she was referring too......Ms.Corcoran. I listen intently while I hold her hand tightly and give her an encouraging smile

"I just went up to her and told her, she was shocked and so was I, because we look and act the exact same but when I got personal with her.....it's like a switch went off and she panicked and left saying she'll call me" Rachel says getting progressively upset, I pull her close and hold her as she cries into my shirt
