Chapter Sixteen: Call outs

Blake's POV

I sit in glee as we discuss Christopher Cross who is some guy I have no idea about, I start to zone out when suddenly a paper is put in my lap by Santana causing me to jump and her to laughs at me

I look over the song and honestly it makes me wanna gag, why do we have to go over this random guy

"Mr.Shue if I may, it's not that we don't want to spend a week learning this silky smooth adult temporary,it's just that as teens, it isn't the easiest music for us to relate too" Kurt says causing me and everyone else to nod

"Well that's the beauty of going outside your comfort zone, we need to do some things that we may not have thought to try" Mr.Shue argues back

"Or we could do Brittany spears" I say (a/n free Brittany bitch)

Everyone cheers and starts talking about it but Mr.Shue stops us making us all grown as he goes on about Christopher Cross and shit, I go back to tuning him out which I have gotten pretty good at

And I know what your thinking, what kind of leader tunes out the directions of the professionals teaching them and to that I say, anyone who has a brain and realizes they are getting fed bullshit

"Mr.Shue, I thought you agreed that we were going to do more of our generations music since we'll the consumers of our stuff or near our age and it makes sense" I say causing Mr.Shue to groan

"We are not doing Brittany and that's final" He says angrily I start glaring at him causing everyone to look in between us as we both have sour looks

The beep rings and we all disperse, I grab my stuff and go to head out with Kurt but suddenly Mr.Shue stops me

"Blake can we talk" He says causing me to nod and cross my arms

"Yes we can because I have a lot to say to you" I say causing him to sigh

"Look as much as I want to do something modern, I have to do what has worked before and add a modern twist to it" Mr.Shue says

"I get that but there's no harm in being fresh and new and adopting a new type of way to win, we all have a mutual understanding that we want to sing things that we relate too, you can't be stuck in old ways" I say causing him to look at me

"Just like you" He says causing me to look at him

"I was told you were going to leave" Mr.Shue says causing me to look away guiltily

"Look I understand why you have discouragement with the group and for that I apologize but you can't run from your problems" He finishes

"I know that, that's why I'm still here, but don't change this over to me when you brought back the two people who have been ruining the groups chances at nationals" I say causing him to now look away

"Blake you are a fantastic singer and a raw talent, I made a mistake with doing that but they have faced punishments for it, but what I need you to do is lead the team, they rely on you" Mr.Shue says

While he's not wrong, He is lying to my face and that I don't appreciate but in that I'm going to do my own thing

I just nod and walk out before he can say anything

I walk down the hall as I make my way to algebra, I look to see Quinn looking like she's about to feel out, I instantly walk over to her as she stands by the steps

"Hey Quinn are you ok" I say, she looks up at me with tears in her eyes

"Yes I just am having some attachment issues, you know since I gave Beth up" She says, I say nothing and just pull her into a hug

She instantly latches on to me, I kiss her head and just comfort her as she weeps into my shirt, damn she's been so strong with this

"Umm thank you, I really needed that" She says as she detaches from me

"No problem" I say smiling , she waves to be with a smile before walking away, I watch her walk away before heading off to class

Little did I know that two people were watching my every move

Time skip

I walk out of glee club after a very awkward meeting with Rachel dressed as Brittany in hit me baby one more time which honestly made me discover my new fantasy

I head to my locker and open it before seeing it close causing me to look over to see Rachel

"What do you want" I say as she looks at me shyly

"I just wanted to know if you liked my outfit" She says causing me to laugh

"I do, but it's not you" I say turning towards her and adjusting my letterman

"But this is how people prefer me"Rachel says quietly causing me to sigh

"It's may be how people like you but it's also letting people objectify you and your probably doing it because of something else so don't beat around the bush and tell me" I say as I put my arm around her and we walk down the hall

"Fine.....I did it because Finn didn't defend me against Santana and Brittany ms,king fun of how I dress" she says as we make it to her class

I sigh as I move my arm and stand in front of her

"People make fun of you because of insecurity and because they wanna feel powerful, by changing your appearance and feeding into the bullying, your giving them said power and since Hudson wants to let that happen then you may need to revaluate your relationship" I say honestly

"He only did it because I don't want him on the football team anymore" She blurts out causing me to roll my eyes

"We'll than maybe you need to not be controlling, doesn't excuse what he did but you need to not control people and just trust them, I know that's hard for you but learn too ok now where my letterman until I can get you some gym clothes and I'll see you later" I say as I take my jacket off and put it on her and with that I walk to my class

I may have seemed calm during that talk but let's just say I am feeling so much anger inside me

A/n ok well this was a chapter, I'll continue updating and all that and I'm not making this any longer so yea
