"well, we're alone right now. aren't we?" clay protested.
"yes clay, it appears we are alone right now" i laughed.
"okay then. round two?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
without replying, i began to lean into clay once more with a slight grin on my face. he brought his hand up to my chin now only inches away from my face.
right when clay was about to pull me into a kiss, i denied it and leaned into his ear to whisper something into it. "you already got your kiss today, clay"
he leaned back with a shocked expression on his face. he playfully hit my shoulder before speaking up. "you said when we're alone, aren't we alone right now?"
"well. you said one every time we hang out, right?" i said with a wide grin on my face.
clay rolled his eyes before replying. "this isn't fair"
"it so is" i laughed.
clay and i continued to admire the view before we would have to go. i was quiet tired, seeing i woke up to come with clay. but i wasn't in a rush to go home.
we eventually made our way back over to the car and clay began to drive me back home. the music was on a low volume so i decided to turn it up, so i could actually hear it.
Now playing: There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of It by Panic! At The Disco
i turned the radio up by the slightest amount seeing this was one of my favorite songs. i liked how upbeat this song was. it was the type of song you enjoyed just because of the vibe it gave off.
sadly this song came an end. then the next song on the radio played.
Now playing: Good Girls by 5 Seconds of Summer
i smiled as the song played. this was another one of my favorites. to me, it was always a catchy song to sing alone to.
just as this song ended clay pulled into my driveway. while he was putting the car in park, he turned the radio back down on low.
"tomorrow?" asked clay.
"sure. text me" i replied as i opened the car door and stepped out. followed by me lightly shutting it.
clay and i waved goodbye as he pulled out of the driveway. once he was out of sight i slowly made my way back inside.
i thought of sneaking through the window like clay had done. except there was a problem.
i had absolutely no clue how clay got up there.i shrugged it off and made my way through the front door. then quietly shutting it.
i tiptoed over to the stairs and began walking up them, cringing as a couple of the steps creaked, then rushing up the rest of them.
i thankfully made it into my room without carter or my parents catching me. who knows how i would explain that to carter. me hanging out with his friend. even after clay said he was mad about it.
i got into bed and put my phone down on the nightstand. i plugged my phone in then got comfortable on my bed. where i immediately fell asleep.

it was now the next day, which was friday. it was after school, thankfully. i was sat down at my desk. out of boredom i was scrolling through my phone.
it was now 6pm when i got a text from clay.
clay
i'll be there in 15i'm already ready
even better
i made my way downstairs to wait for clay to get here. when i saw carter.
"where are you going with that?" he asked, talking about the small string bag i had in my hand.
"going over to sapnaps house...?" i lied.
"i thought the other day you said sapnap was going out of town?"
of course i would forget about that. why did i even tell carter that anyways?
"hello....?"
"just shut up" i replied back.
i felt my phone vibrate in my hand. i didn't check it, knowing it was clay. and began making my way outside.
carter got up from the couch and peaked through the blinds to see who was here. "george why are you hanging out with clay?!"
"got to go!" i yelled as i shut the door.
i walked over to clays car and threw my bag into the back seat as i got in. "hey george" clay spoke up first.
"hi clay"
"why'd you yell something?"
"carter saw your car and got mad" i laughed.
"of course" clay laughed as well.
he turned the radio up and began driving back to his house. once we arrived i grabbed my small bag out of the backseat as we began to make our way inside.
"and by the way my parents aren't home" clay announced.
"oh okay, that's fine"
clay led us into his room. i threw my bag onto the ground in the corner of the room, then looking back at clay.
"where am i sleeping?"
"if you want you can sleep in my bed with me, i mean look at it. it's big enough for the two of us"
"you sure you're fine with that?" i asked to clarify.
"george, we have a thing where everytime we hang out we kiss, i'm sure i'll be fine sleeping next to you"
"fair enough"
