it was the same day and we were home from school. carter and clay were working on their project upstairs. and i was sitting in the living room just like the previous day.

i was sat down on the couch finishing up homework, except i couldn't focus. the events from earlier kept flooding back into my head.

clay admitting he liked me?

i still don't know how i feel about clay. obviously we are great friends. and i like him...a lot. dating him is different though.

the only reason i somewhat 'rejected' him saying it was new to me, is because of parents. i never came out to my parents, and i'm not sure if i'm ready to.

the other thing stopping me is carter. he already gets mad at me for hanging out with clay. if he found out we were dating who knows how he would react.

the thought of dating clay seemed nice. and the more i thought about it, the more i was convinced i had feelings for clay.

i ignored my thoughts and continued working on my homework. it didn't take too long to finished. i put my everything back into my bag and brought it back upstairs into my room.

i walked back downstairs and sat my self down on the couch, letting out a sigh.

i knew clay was going to end up coming downstairs. and when he does i know he's going to try to talk to me.

except i already knew my answer. now it was just a matter of time until i see him.

my thoughts get interrupted once again when i heard my phone buzz on the couch next to me.
i picked it up and noticed a text notification from sapnap.

are you free?

yeah, what's up?

do you want to play minecraft? i'm bored

sure. i'll log onto discord in a minute

okay cya

i quickly sat up from the couch and rushed upstairs into my room. right as i was about to shut my the door i heard carter's door open. i ignored it not knowing who it was, and shut my door quietly. 

once my pc was turned on, i logged into minecraft and joined sapnaps game. after that, i opened discord and joined vc with sapnap.

"hey george, what are you up to?"

"just finished the math homework" i replied.

"we have math homework....?"

"uhh yeah?" i laughed. "typical sapnap, always forgetting we have homework"

"that means i won't be able to stay for long" he responded.

"that's fine"

sapnap and i continued playing minecraft, mainly searching for netherite. we continued playing for a couple more hours until sapnap decided he was going to leave the game to do homework.

we stayed in call while he did his homework, i continued playing minecraft, still gathering netherite.

"this shits so confusing"

"what problem?" i asked.

"seven" he replied.

"i think that one was 49.6"

"alright, thanks"

multiple minutes have passed and i kept hearing sighs coming from sapnaps end. he eventually got it done, and had to leave to go somewhere.

we both said goodbye and i hung up the discord call. i just my pc off and scrolled through twitter for awhile on my phone.

i eventually got bored of my room, and decided to go downstairs. i sat back down on the couch and began to scroll through twitter.

about twenty minutes later i heard footsteps coming down the stairs, yet chose to ignore it. i heard them walking closer to me and turned around.

of course it was clay.

"hi, clay"

"hi george," he relplied. "so...earlier at school, huh?"

"yeah..."

clay walked over to the couch and put his hands on the back, holding him up. i turned around and look directly into his eyes. a wide smile formed onto my face.

"have you made up your mind?" he asked.

"maybe i have...maybe i haven't" i smirked.

"george, will you be my boyfriend?"

"of course" i smiled. he removed his hand from the couch and bent down, now grabbing my chin and pulling me into a kiss.

"under one condition though..." i added.

"oh god. go on"

"my parents can't know, i haven't come out to them yet. i came out to carter a while ago, so i don't really care about him"

"okay, that's fine" he smiled, pulling me into a second kiss.

"oh fuck" he whispered. "i have to go back upstairs, i was supposed to be grabbing him a water"

"alright"

"bye george, love you" he laughed.

"goodbye clay, love you" i mocked back.

what the hell just happened.
