juli had announced her break on twitter a couple of days ago. during that time period, clay had left for his family trip to california, sapnap had gone to north carolina to film with mr. beast and his crew, and juli had started studying for finals.
right now, juli was headed to the grocery store to pick up some food. she put her car in park and got out of the car. as the automatic sliding doors opened a breeze of cold air hit her face.
she grabbed a cart and wiped down the handle with the provided wipes. she headed into the fruit isle and grabbed all of the fruits she needed. she did the same with everything else she needed.
juli headed in the direction of the cash registers. once she got there she placed all of her groceries on the conveyor belt. the cashier started checking out her items, a beep sounding everyone he scanned something.
"how has your day been so far?" a deep, smooth voice asked her. she looked up in shock. she saw a man around six feet tall. he had dark brown naturally curly hair, dark blue eyes, dimples, a sharp jawline and perfect lips and teeth.
"um, good," she smiled up at him, "what about yours?"
"eh. i mean i work at grocery store not sure how good that can be," he smiled, making her laugh.
"what's your name?" she asked.
"jack, what's yours?" he answered.
"juliana, but my friends call me juli," she smiled
"juliana," he replied, it felt as though butterflies flew throughout her stomach, "pretty name," he smiled.
"well, that'll be $105.97," he said right after he scanned the last item.
she smiled and handed him her debit card, "thank you"
"no problem," he said smiling, "do you want me to help with all this?"
"yes please," she said as she rolled her cart forward a little bit to retrieve her grocery bags.
he walked around the counter onto her side, as she realized just how much taller he is compared to her. they started to move the grocery bags into her cart. "do you want me to help bring these to your car too? i know people can be weird to girls when they're alone," he asked her.
"sure! thank you," she replied.
they walked over to her car and she opened the trunk. they started to pack the groceries into the car. "um you're really pretty and i was wondering if maybe i can get your number and we can go out sometime?" he asked her as they finished.
"sure, i would love to!" she replied.
after they exchanged phone numbers she headed home. juli put her groceries away and headed upstairs to start studying.
